We loved our stay at the cottage. It was a clean, relaxing place on the water and it was so pet-friendly. The views of the sunrise and sunsets on the lake made it even better. The place had everything we needed to cook meals which was helpful. Easy directions to get there/in and communication was good. Close to the causeway walk/bike path so we could walk our dog too. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our dog, Hazel, took us on a lovely long weekend on Lake Champlain. The cottage was lovely, warm, and inviting. So close to the best part of the Causeway, which was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed paddle boarding. It was a beautiful 4 days.

This was a peaceful, lovely cottage with a happy, homey feel. Fresh cut flowers from outside to welcome you on Kitchen table, plenty of clean towels, blankets, and a fridge with some basics like mayo, etc, plus water so you don't have to bring every last thing. It was a really quiet place with an excellent view. Susan was very responsive to our inquiries and definitely gave us plenty of info to help make our stay enjoyable.

Lovely lakeside property. Host very responsive. 2 months ride to bike causeway…perfect! It was a 7 minute walk down the causeway to enjoy amazing sunsets! What a gift :)As we rented in early September, the lake level was too low to swim off the dock or beach but we enjoyed watching the wildlife, including a family of deer wading in the lake at te end of the dock!

We really enjoyed the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere at the lake house. There are beautiful tall windows facing the lake, and two recliners with binoculars positioned perfectly to sit, relax and take in the lake view. We watched birds, ducks, cranes and a hawk fly in as well as a raccoon scurry across the yard and a momma deer and two babies wading through the water. There was plenty of room for my friend and I to make breakfast, lunch or dinner and just enjoy our time together. We enjoyed the eclectic collection of decor around the patio and garden. I would highly recommend this place to relax and enjoy.

Lovely quiet peaceful house with a full wall of windows looking out on lake Champlain. Comfy chairs to watch the bird life. Bedding and beds comfy. Nice bathroom and pet friendly.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet the cottage offered over the Thanksgiving holiday. The views, the fire pit, the star-filled night sky, the quick walk to the Causeway — all exactly what we hoped for in a getaway.

Wonderful!The property has been carefully perfected for guests to have a comfortable and restful stay. As an example, I especially appreciated the care that was put into making sure it was easy to keep the entire space at a comfortable temperature. When staying away from home, tending to that sort of thing can otherwise take time and attention away from enjoyment. Even in shoulder season, the location makes it a perfect getaway - especially for birders. The view out the picture windows is mesmerizing. Instructions and communication were crystal clear.
