Summary:

This cozy 3BR home has a Private pool, BBQ, mini-golf, and free parking! Enjoy an outdoor shower, a huge backyard, desert landscape, mountain views, and watch local wildlife like quails and jackrabbits!



Just a heads up - our place is down a short (~500-foot) unpaved road off McDowell Road. Any car should be fine on this road. After you turn onto the unpaved section, you'll pass a few houses before reaching our home. More details will be included in the check-in instructions!



The Space:

Please note - Outdoor wood-burning fires aren't allowed. Please stick to the gas fire pit located upstairs. Additionally, the thermostat is set between 72–76°F and cannot go below 72. It isn't guest-adjustable; feel free to message me if you'd like the temperature adjusted. But the system can only cool 20–25 degrees cooler than the outside temperature, so it might take a bit to chill when it's super hot outside. Thank you for your understanding!

➤ IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 1 WEEK STAY OR LONGER:

Toilet paper, garbage bags, and basic toiletries will be provided for the guests at the beginning of the stay. It will then be the guest's responsibility to provide for these for the remainder of their stay.



Guest Access:

➤ The guests will have access to the entire unit, except for the storage shed and the garage, which is for the owner's use only. Please, make yourself at home.



➤ Two driveway parking spots are available and several spots in the dirt loop in front of the house.

The Desert Uplands area, where this property is located, is a peaceful and spacious neighborhood that embraces a tranquil desert lifestyle. The community is known for its expansive lots and scenic views, with natural landscapes that include cacti, rugged hills, and occasional sightings of local wildlife like quail and roadrunners. It’s a calm place where residents enjoy privacy and a connection with nature.



For outdoor enthusiasts, this neighborhood offers easy access to hiking trails and parks. Nearby, you'll find the Tonto National Forest and Usery Mountain Regional Park, both providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, and birdwatching. Saguaro Lake and the Salt River are also just a short drive away, offering water recreation like boating and fishing.



Despite its rural charm, Desert Uplands is conveniently close to shopping centers and restaurants, making it easy to access daily necessities. The neighborhood is friendly and tight-knit, with residents frequently engaging in local events. Other Things to Note:

➤ Please avoid hitting balls into neighboring yards. Be mindful of outdoor activities like putting green to keep a good relationship with our neighbors. Thanks for understanding!



➤ The property is equipped with both heating and air conditioning; however, we cannot guarantee that you will achieve a comfortable temperature if your preference falls outside the range of approximately 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, due to the nature of short-term rentals, where guests may frequently come and go, we cannot promise 100% uptime, as some guests may inadvertently push the systems beyond their capacity, necessitating repairs.



➤ Unfortunately, I can't offer a bag drop-off service. For those arriving early or having a late flight, you can use bagbnb site to find options to drop off your bag for a fee.



➤ Please keep in mind that the guests don’t have access to the USPS mailbox or any mailboxes, and I’m not responsible for any packages delivered to the unit.



➤ The fireplace is non-operational and is for decorative purposes only.

Home layout and location are great. Quick response from managers/owners when combination lock did not work. However, house is in need of significant upkeep, repair, cleaning, and yard maintenance. Bathtub is clogged and not really useable, paint is peeling on kitchen window sill, there are missing pieces of the tile floorboard, there are multiple cracks and holes in the floor tile. Two ovens, one works. Three of 6 burners work. Dirt and tiny bugs on kitchen windowsills. Significant dirt and dust under bed, furniture and in bathrooms. Freezer has one ice cube tray and the ice cube bin is filled with solid ice. With respect to amenities there is a limit of one towel per person, bed linens are extremely worn, mattress is worn and lumpy. Hot tub is not usable. Yard is very weedy and unkempt.
