South Dartmouth Vacation Rental Home - Half Mile to Padanaram Village

Welcome to our vacation home!
We recently renovated our home which offers a new fully equipped kitchen, 3 upstairs bedrooms that comfortably sleep 6 people, and two new bathrooms, one on each floor. Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed, one full size bed and twin beds. Dining area off living room as well as island seating in kitchen. First floor laundry for your convenience. Large yard with private area to enjoy outdoor dining, cookouts and sitting by fire pit. Garage space for storing your bikes and kayaks. Walk to quaint Padanaram Village and enjoy shopping and dining whether you are looking for a casual breakfast or lunch or an evening dining over looking the harbor you won’t be disappointed. Take a stroll over the Padanaram Bridge and watch the fabulous sunsets, and don’t forget to enjoy an ice cream cone while taking in the view. Enjoy a day at one of the area beaches. Bring your bicycles to explore the village and area sites.
You can bring your kayak and paddle on the harbor. Centrally located for easy day trips to Boston, Cape Cod and Newport. Take a fast ferry from New Bedford’s Sea Streak to Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket or the ferry to the Elizabeth Islands.
Visit New Bedford Whaling Museum, New Bedford Art Museum as well as local community Theatres. Just a short drive from our vacation home. Enjoy fine dining in Historic downtown New Bedford. There is so much to enjoy and explore. Have fun!

Charming well appointed quiet location. Walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants. Not too far from great places to visit. We visited for a memorial service and would recommend to friends. Hosts were responsive and thoughtful.

Beautiful New England beach house

Property is incredibly clean and beautifully decorated with all of the amenities and things to make our stay comfortable and home like. The hosts have great communication and this is my favourite short term home rental I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Judy and Geoff were excellent hosts! Check in and check out processes were simple and communication with Judy and Geoff was quick and easy throughout the entire stay. The house was clean and well decorated, the rooms were spacious, and the kitchen area was well stocked with all sorts of accommodations. Our favorite part of the house was the back yard and back patio where we spent eating meals and hanging out in the evenings. Also the house is within walking distance to several restaurants, a fresh market, and an ice cream shop. We loved the house and location and would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely home in a great location We had a small mishap (broken table which was the fault of the guest) and the owner was gracious and reasonable in handling it.

Our neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature. There is
a diverse array of bird species due to the close proximity to the ocean and local agriculture. The street is bordered by stonewalls and quaint New England style architecture. We love taking walks with our dogs. Our home is walking distance to Padanaram Village where you can visit local shops and restaurants, ice cream shops and more. It’s a special place to visit and once you are here, you won’t want to leave!

We purchased this older home because we saw the potential it had to offer. After many projects, and contractors we transformed this home into a cozy, coastal cottage. It’s a comfortable home with lots of charm. We love it!
Private patio and garden area offers a place to dine and enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by flowering plants and solar lighting.
