Luxury secluded and spacious villa with huge heated private Pool

Villa Phoenix is set in a peaceful hamlet and enjoys extensive views across the surrounding protected hills and countryside of Penina. The mature, secluded and fenced gardens extend to 1½ acres and benefit from extensive landscaping. The gardens are complimented by a purpose built barbecue area. There are 2 lawns; one perfect for football, badminton or boules whilst the other for peace and quiet.

The spectacular heated pool is a wonderful 16m by 8m, with a bubble jet spa having a waterfall overflow into the pool (lockable gates separate rear garden and pool from front garden).

Large lounge, dining room and terraces with satellite TV, WiFi and air-conditioning to complete your luxury holiday.

The villa has been furnished with much attention to detail with themed bedrooms all including recently renovated en-suite bathrooms. Similar attention will be given to your holiday. Thus, should you so wish, the villa manager can provide evening meals, baby sitting, shopping and other assistance. Complete each day by falling asleep in one of the English sized beds having chosen your themed bedroom.

A beautiful villa with stunning gardens and a huge pool that we absolutely loved. The BBQ area was perfect for evenings outdoors, and the villa is so well equipped with everything you could need. Melissa and Clive were excellent hosts—helpful, welcoming, yet wonderfully discreet. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Beautiful villa and property, even better than on the photos! Perfect place to relax and explore the Algarve! Great service and hospitality by Melissa and Clive. The pool is huge and a real highlight. The kitchen has so many dishes and equipment! The outdoor BBQ area is a real treasure and was used often!

We had a fantastic week at the villa. The photos don't really do it the justice it deserves - the grounds and pool area are beautiful, clean and perfect for families. We had more than enough space for two families of 4. We found the bedrooms comfy and spacious and it was a bonus to have ensuites for each bedroom. Melissa and Clive were very helpful and clear about check-in / check-out arragenements. The kitchen had everything you need for picnics on the beach etc, (including tuppa-ware) as well as a fantastic BBQ area at the front of the house. Thank you so much- we would love to use the space again one day and will recommend to our firends and family.

Multi-generational holiday in Portamao

We all - ranging from 12 to 75 years – loved the place. Lots of space for everyone to gather together and also to sit and read quietly. Beautiful grounds but the piece de resistance for the teenagers was the swimming pool and games area.Melissa and Clive are wonderful hosts

Fantastic villa

Fantastic villa, very well stocked with everything you need. Swimming pool is big and really warm. We loved this place. We were supprised that the hosts lived on site, I think the advert should state this. But Clive and Melissa are amazing hosts, and it did not detract from our experience. We would definitely return again

Loved our stay in Alvor!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The hosts were wonderful and helped us with any questions we had. They even got my daughter some candy and a card for her birthday! The property was beautiful and very clean. You definitely need a car when renting this home as it’s a bit out of the way from town. In terms of location, we found this to be an optimal spot for exploring the different towns along the Algarve. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic stay. Probably the best house ever stayed in 9 times traveling together

We were overwhelmed with the hospitality of Melissa and Clive. The house is very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Fantastic to have four bedrooms with on suite bathrooms. We have never spend so much time in a house during our travels. This was also because of the big pool and the games we found onsite. Everybody will be lucky staying with Melissa and Clive!

Lovely villa with every facility you need for a very comfortable stay.

My family and I had a great stay at the Villa, enjoying the fantastic pool and exploring the area. Our flight was delayed but the hosts were great, staying awake to welcome our very late arrival. There was also a food and drinks parcel so that we had everything we needed to start our holiday the following morning, which was a lovely touch. The Villa has everything you need for a very comfortable stay, it is well located in a nice quite spot but within easy reach to explore everything in the local area. Many thanks to you both.

Villa phoenix

My family and I stayed in villa phoenix for a week and let me tell you the pictures don’t do this villa justice. The house is so lovely clean and very well maintained. The outside area is second to none . The pool was perfection and we use the jacuzzi and a small pool for our 3 year old son . The garden is beautiful, like a resort and lights up at night . Beautiful villa , would definitely recommend, so central only 15/20 min drive from most towns and attractions.

We loved Villa Phoenix!

Our family, grandparents, parents and young children, planned a busy itinerary for touring Portugal. We booked 4 days in the Algarve region early in April and chose Villa Phoenix based on photos and reviews. We were not disappointed! The property is well situated to tour the surrounding area. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean - really perfect for our needs. There is a great patio for relaxing or eating outdoors. The grounds are truly special. It has a beautiful pool area and we were lucky it was warm enough to take advantage of it. The gardens are lush with flowering plants and trees and divided into areas for eating and grilling outside, lawn games, stone paths, fountains and even a little bridge. The children loved checking on the chickens each morning and looking for fairies. Needless to say, we would love to return to this property in the future. Our hosts on site, Melissa and Clive were warm, friendly and very helpful. Clive’s hand drawn maps were invaluable !!

We looked for a villa for a long time, as this was going to be our first holiday in a villa. We were looking for somewhere remote and private as we are a large neurodivergent family and we need space, self catering, a heated pool and the opportunity to be loud if we need it. We have 4 children, 2 teens, 1 8yr old and an 18 month old. The Villa was absolutely perfect for us! It offered everything we wanted and much more. The gardens are excellent, and superbly cared for. The terrace is a beautiful space for a family, and the hammock was a huge hit for our autistic daughters. The pool is huge and fantastic for our water addiction, and our toddler loved the hot tub addition too! The teens absolutely loved having an en-suite each, and the space we had in the whole villa was so good for when we all needed some down time. The air conditioning is really good, and needed in the 30 degree weather! The Villa is really well stocked too.We hired a car which was very useful, and we explored Alvor beach and a few restaurants, but we also ate in the villa every evening as this suits our family more. The hosts Mellisa and Clive are so friendly and helpful, and it’s actually very convenient having them on site. They gave us the space and privacy we needed and were also on hand for any questions, or support we needed. We had a lovely week and we all really enjoyed it, and we’re already planning to return next year!

The property itself is just as described beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, our experience was seriously tainted by the actions of the property owners at the end of our stay.Upon arrival, we were asked to hand over a 300 cash deposit. No issues with this until we were told, as we were preparing to leave, that we had allegedly damaged the gates by climbing on them. Based on this claim, the full deposit was withheld.This came as a complete shock. We had barely used that entrance and certainly hadn’t caused any damage. I even pointed out that there was a camera facing the gate which could prove our innocence, only to be told that it “didn’t work.” In other words, we were accused without any evidence and penalized for something we didn’t do.To make matters worse, it later came to light—through their own admission—that the gate had been in need of repair a week before we even arrived. It’s hard not to feel like we were conveniently blamed in order to cover pre-existing issues.This experience left a very sour taste. It’s a shame, because we genuinely enjoyed our time at the property up until that point. But their willingness to levy baseless charges with no proof is deeply concerning.In short: stunning property, but be very wary of its management. Sadly, I can’t recommend staying here unless you're prepared to pay for its upkeep via fees.

Très bon séjour Sauf que le beau temps n'était pas de la partie Coupure électrique générale de 12h pendant notre séjour Seuls bémols : l'eau chaude plutôt tiède le matin (chauffe eau solaire je pense), fonctionnement du jacuzzi un peu compliqué.Melissa et Clive ont toujours été là pour nous dépanner et nous aider. Adorables.Je recommande !

Très belle propriété calme spacieuse le seul inconvénient c est que sur l annonce ce n est pas stipulé que les propriétaires vivent en bas de là maison vis à vis de partout et pas tranquille du coup ça c est pas top sinon y’a tout dans la maison
