We had the most wonderful time. Weather great,accommodations wonderful. Water beautiful. Food out of this world. Would recommend to anyone that wants a great getaway.

Ok. Here we go! Pro: good location, lovely view, clean, firm beds, roomy bedroom, good AC, good access to water and comfortable living room space. Con: lacking in kitchen and bathroom necessities (but to be fair there is a list of what is provided). This lack of soap and paper products seems to be the norm now. Our code for building access did not work and that was troublesome. Also the bathrooms are looking a little worn. Water pressure not great. The toaster broke but was quickly replaced. We could not find the iron and it was reported but we never did get one. The rate was a bit high for the value. But oh those sunsets! But my biggest personal con is checkout time… 10am! So early. And check in is so late. Again another norm that is at the travelers expense.

The “cons,” we’ll admit, are a bit of a bummer, but we appreciate how fairly you laid everything out. Our starter pack of supplies is meant to help guests get through their first night until they’re settled and can pick up additional items of their own. With the high volume of guests moving in and out—especially during peak season—our housekeeping, maintenance, and inspection teams need adequate time to prepare each property to standard before the next arrival, which is why the 10 a.m. checkout and 4 p.m. check-in times are in place. You were offered the option of an additional discounted night, which would have allowed for a more flexible checkout. We appreciate your understanding and the time you took to share both the positives and the opportunities for improvement. We’re glad those sunsets made an impression—they never disappoint—and we’d love to welcome you back for another Gulf Coast getaway.

The kitchen was equipped but if I really wanted to be able to cook ( I did not), I would have had to buy some items. There were paper towels, toilet paper, and starter soaps, detergents, etc which was wonderful. What could have been added with minimal cost was a few coffee filters. I arrived with coffee, but no filters. I bought 200 ( at a minimal price ) to leave there and requested that the cleaning service leave a few out for each new guest. The secondary bath tub was very slippery with no grab bars or mat to keep from slipping. For the most part this place is furnished nicely ( an inexpensive coffee table in the great room would add to the decor and another place to put a coffee cup or wine glass and nibbles). This was our second time staying here and i I would return.
