La maison de vacances Northwoods est isolée sur 30 acres boisés avec 900 pieds de rive du lac. Il dispose de 7 chambres, 4 1/2 salles de bains avec deux jacuzzi, sol au plafond cheminée au gaz de pierre, grand salon, salle familiale avec table de billard, nouvelle cuisine avec comptoirs en granit, deux réfrigérateurs, lave-vaisselle, trois saisons véranda, grande terrasse Turtle Lake, laveuse / sécheuse, barbecue à gaz et à charbon, foyer extérieur, air climatisé central, animaux de compagnie acceptés avec frais et accÚs à toutes les commodités du Camp Holiday Resort & Campground.

Au Camp Holiday, vous trouverez de nombreuses activitĂ©s pour vous occuper. Very nice house, excellent location, rooms and bathrooms were very nice. Definitely one of the best rentals I've stayed at Only downside was a lack of salt, pepper, or oils in the kitchen. There are stores in the area where we able to get extras .

Wonderful home for big family gathering

We have stayed here twice, bringing together 4 busy families for a weekend of board games, food and many laughs. The amount of space and the layout is great for everyone to gather or to split up. It’s an easy drive to/from the Twin Cities too.

Really nice location w/accommodating hosrs

The place was perfect for our family gathering. Loved the large kitchen with all the seating. The hosts was very helpful and an excellent communicator ensuring we had everything necessary to enjoy our stay. She even dropped off a cue ball when I emailed her to let her know one was missing. Super flexible with check in and out as well. Definitely a great place to stay for a large crowd!

Great retreat

Great retreat spot close to the Twin Cities. For our family of 14 it worked well. The surroundings were beautiful with perfect fall colors and weather. The kitchen and family areas were all perfect for gathering together. The online description and pictures were accurate and the hosts were readily responsive to any questions.

Family Christmas Gwtaway

Enjoyed the 7 bedrooms giving everyone a little time to themselves. Dining and living rooms large enough for cards and games for everyone. The pool table was a big hit, having pool tournaments. The 2 fridges were a nice thing in the kitchen, having enough room for all the food.

Plenty Space for Family celebration

Location and space worked well for our family with relatives, 17 all together. Very private space and owners were responsive to a few minor issues- internet and plumbing. Plenty of cookware that is in excellent shape. Bring all seasonings and oils for cooking. It was an excellent week and very relaxing. I would recommend to others!

Great winter wonderland

The house was everything we expected. Our family came for a relaxing time post-Christmas and we were not disappointed. It even snowed a little to make a fairyland in the forest while we were there (although we doubt that our hostess had anything to do with the snow). The well-funished kitchen, the pool table, the quiet location, etc., all helped make this a nice experience.

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at the property. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms and bathrooms were cleaned, and the pool table was a great amenity. However, after a few hours of checking in, we were surprised by a BAT that flew out of the Master bedroom into the living room area. We were luckily able to get rid of the bat without anyone being harmed but I would highly recommend the place be thoroughly checked after every checkout. Aside from this encounter, we would rent again!

Family ice fishing

We had a wonderful weekend with family from Texas, California, Arizona, and Missouri. Beautiful home everything that we needed. Some of the family members bucket list was to ice fish. We had no such luck fishing. Only one fish caught out of three days, but we made lots of memories and had lots of laughs. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home.

Christmas card holiday at the lake

Having spent our blended family holiday celebrations at a hotel for the last 18 years, our total delight upon arriving at our VRBO on Turtle Lake was expanded as the snow began gently to fall. We found All that we needed for our two night stay including a shovel in the garage so the lake could be cleared for the skaters, and snowball fights. Purchased wood for the fire ring flamed into the snowy night before sizzling ashes had us retreating inside for pool games, board games at the more than accommodating table by the fireplace, and varied fare of snacks and drinks available upon the large granite island in the kitchen invited us. Bedrooms and bathrooms made all eleven of us content as we happily shared hours at this truly beautiful home, in it’s spectacular setting.

Beautiful and lovely.

Wonderful property, location, home. I can say enough how great this rental is. We have a large family and there was plenty of space to spread out and have some personal space. The property is the perfect location andbeautiful. Mature trees and thick surrounding woods. We were able to set up a hammock town right in the back yard, five hammocks and space for more. Horse flies will attack in the woods and roads if you go running, but not in the yard. The lake is on the small side but so fun for fishing, kayaking, swimming, just being in the water. We rented a pontoon and loved going for rides and fishing. The channel to lake partridge is fun. Best rental house we've have for our up north extended family getaways.

Great Stay

The property was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. We only booked a long weekend (Fri-Sun) and it was nice that the location was fairly close to the cities. The kitchen had plenty of plates and other basics which is always appreciated - and having two refrigerators was an additional perk that we didn't realize how much we would need. The layout of the house is excellent for larger groups and having two main rooms (one up and one down) was nice to go between. Our Saturday was perfect for being outdoors and the yard between the house and lake was perfectly laid out to be able to enjoy a bonfire and play yard games. The only blemish to the weekend is that the master bedroom bathroom doesn't flush easily. Luckily they had a plunger nearby probably for that exact reason but sometimes people would forget to hold the handle down for longer than normal and it would create issues. I would recommend a little note to leave in that bathroom (similar to the reminder of what to flush) would save a lot of people from having to utilize the plunger.

Pros: Beautiful place! The photos don’t do it justice. There’s plenty of space for everyone, great family rooms, beautiful bathrooms, and lots of useful appliances. The host kept things simple, which we really appreciated.Cons:Unfortunately, we found bed bugs during our stay—two on the lower level and one upstairs— so it may be throughout the house. We ended up sleeping in our cars the second night, which really ruined the trip. We seriously considered leaving right away, but it was too difficult to relocate such a large group last minute. Had to throw away some of our clothes, in hopes that we don’t bring bed bugs home. It would be an expensive consequence.

Christmas at a lovely lake house

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The house was secluded and on a lovely piece of property. There was ample parking spaces and two cars were able to go in the garage. The double sided fireplace provided nice warmth on the main level and felt cozy. The water was hot and the dining room table was perfect for sliding I. And out of the Benches on both sides.

We keep busy during the summer running our Resort, Camp Holiday Resort & Campground. In the off season we love to hunt, ice fish and spend time with our children and grandkids.
