The lake house

The Lake House

Bring the whole family to this peaceful retreat and enjoy breathtaking views of our 365-acre private lake. Relax on the porch, swim from the dock, fish, or walk just 50 feet to the community swimming area.

Bring your own boat, pontoon, or jet skis and launch them at the community boat ramp. The private dock may be used for loading, unloading, swimming, and temporary tie-up only. The boat lift and jet ski lift are private and are not available for guest use. Boats and jet skis may not be left tied to the dock overnight.

Things to Know

* Please respect neighboring private properties.
* Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), canoes, swimming, fishing, and all other recreational activities are at your own risk.
* The staircase is steep. Please use caution.
* The owner is not liable for injuries or accidents that occur during your stay.
* Quiet hours in the Callender Lake community are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum.

Great space for big families that just need a getaway and find some peace. The dock is a solitude place to just listen and be still. The kitchen is furnished and there's a great grill outside which was great because we loved to cook. We have made some great memories during our stay and appreciate how gracious and thoughtful the host are.

This is a lovely lakefront home. Our family especially enjoyed the boat dock with its comfortable seating and easy access to swimming. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

Comfortable home with great lakefront access. Easy check-in. Kitchen updated and included a great soft-ice maker. Lots of outdoor furniture for lounging, but could have been cleaner. Overall, very enjoyable.

The house was just the perfect one that we could imagine for our stay! We enjoyed the lake view, kayak boats etc. The host was extremely helpful and kind! Will definitely recommend this property!

My family and I were so impressed by how open & inviting it was as well as fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. We all felt at home there and it was so easy to relax and enjoy our time. I absolutely loved when I walked in and the host had instructions and WiFi info posted up real nice by the front door. Even though the weather wasn't that great while we were there we still spent some time down at the water because it was so beautiful & peaceful out there. We are definitely planning on booking again and will encourage others to go and stay as well.

Wonderful space

This house was a great location for us to settle into after a memorial service. We were able to fish and swim with family in celebration of our lost patriarch. The house was clean and inviting. We settled in and it was the perfect amount of space for us. The kids loved swimming and spent every hour they could in the water. The host is very communicative. She reached out ahead of our stay to send condolences and ask if we needed anything. We would love to come back again!

Our family had such a wonderful stay at The Lake House. The dock is amazing & we spent hours and hours out there with the kiddos. They had an absolute blast. The house is so charming. The bedrooms were perfect. We all slept like babies. The house comes with everything you could need and more. We will definitely be back again.
