⏰A late check-out fee of $100 per hour will be charged for any unplanned late checkouts.
-->An unplanned late check-out is any departure after 10:00 AM that has not been approved by the host before 9:00 PM on the day prior to check-out.
--> If arranged and approved in advance, we may be able to accommodate late check-outs or early check-ins for $25 per hour, depending on availability. Please message us ahead of time to check availability, as this is not always possible.

🌳Our lawn service provider typically comes by to mow on Mondays or Tuesdays (weather permitting—if it rains, the service is rescheduled to the next dry day). We would also appreciate it if guests could park in front of the house during these days, if possible.

🫙Trash pickup in our area is on Thursdays. No action needed from guests (FYI the truck can come as early as 6 AM so if you happen to hear a little noise early Thursday morning, that’s just the garbage truck stopping by).

🛏️ We provide high density orthopedic-style firm mattresses

🎥We have 4 actively recording external cameras for everyone’s safety (1 in the Driveway and 1 for each outside door), as well as a noise decibel monitoring device in the property. Please refer to Safety & Property>Safety Devices found at the bottom of the listing page for details.

🚂 The home is located near a train track, and trains pass by between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. We provide earplugs for your comfort, but personally, we hardly notice any noise while inside the house.

🌊Being we have direct access to the river from our backyard, children under 18 years will require constant adult supervision. By agreeing to rent this home, you acknowledge the risks that you and your guests may face during your stay and accept full responsibility for them.

🏕️Rockford is known as the Forest City - nature is everywhere! While we maintain the property with regular professional pest control, the occasional insect can still make its way indoors—especially during seasonal changes. If you happen to notice anything during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to help and can quickly provide solutions.

🐾We understand that pets are part of the family, and we welcome 2 dogs in this house ($50 per night). Please note that at this time we’re only able to accommodate dogs.
