INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach. 


All credit card payments will incur a non-refundable 3.5% convenience fee. E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (provided they are submitted at least 30 days prior to check-in).

Great Family House

One palm is a great house for families. We all had plenty of room and made memories that will last a lifetime. It was a quick walk to the beach and in a convenient location from town.

Great location

The house was clean and as stated on web site! Had everything we needed during our stay! Great location close to the beach, one day the wind picked up on the beach so we were able to enjoy the clean pool without blowing sand! We had six adults and the accommodations were great having 2 king and 1 queen bed, so many rentals had more bunk beds than full size beds. Would definitely recommend this house.

Another great time in Port St. Joe

One Palm readily met the requirements of a party of 13, although we didn't have that many sleeping at one time as some guests arrived or left on different days. We were always comfortable, beach proximity is good and beach item closet is well stocked. We had a few maintenance items that needed addressing when we arrived and Michelle at Sea Stay Vacation rentals was on top of it and had the items handled quickly. As a bonus, this area of Port St. Joe beach seemed to have a new array of shells and treasures to find that I have not previously seen in PSJ or the Cape. We would certainly stay here again!

Family Vacation

We have enjoyed our stay at One Palm. The house was perfect for our family. The house was clean and the pool was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with toaster oven, baking pans , glasses, coffee pot and plates. We brought paper plates and bowls. It was nice for the rental beach chairs and wagon. We will be back to stay again. There are a couple of updates that need taken care of. 1. Dish Washer is not draining, so you can not use it. We had brought paper plates and bowls so we really did not need it. 2. Main toliet handle is loose. 3. The bedroom with king bed - ceiling fan makes squeezing noise. 4. The rug in living room and kitchen need cleaned. We look forward to coming back next year. Tilford and Nina

Fall Break

The house fit us great! 6 adults and a 18 month old. The house was stocked nicely in the kitchen. The bedrooms were nice sizes. We did have trouble with our garbage being turned over every night by a bear so it became frustrating to have to pick it up every day. Maybe put some kind of fasteners on the lids. Also, the beach straight out from the house was brackish water from a creek a few houses down so we had to walk any 100 yards to get clear water. We didn’t have anything to sweep or clean the floor, no mop or broom, there was a vacuum cleaner that didn’t have enough suction to get up sand. I had to get down on my hands and knees and wipe the floor with a wet towel because I hate sand on the floor! A great suggestion, have a dust mop and dust buster! Over all, the house was great and we had a good time!

The house was very comfortable, beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the pool was great, and the location was fantastic! Really enjoyed the view and being able to walk right out to the beach. Beach was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked (although a good nonstick would be a nice addition). I love how dog friendly this beach is. Although, the neighbor does ask you to keep pets off of their property.There were only a few negatives to the property. First, the trash cans were knocked over in the night (apparently by beach bears). We had to clean up trash on several occasions. As we noticed this in previous reviews, please put a lock on the cans or build a small enclosure to keep them in. Also, please add some beach gear. The chairs in the storage closet were rusty and broken (we threw 2 away). Otherwise, you may want to let renters know to bring their own chairs/ umbrella for the beach (we appreciated knowing to bring beach towels). Finally, the grill did not work and looks like it needs to be replaced. Overall, we did enjoy the house and the pool (beware, in summer it's like a hot tub, lol). Thank you!

The pool was a wonderful thing about the stay. The kids could swim until they got tired. There are a lot of stairs which was an obstacle for me as a leg amputee. The house is beautiful and it is located near a beach with less visitors. Bonus for those in wheelchairs, the bathroom door is standard width so I could access it
