Luxurious Cottage on a Private Island on the Tennessee River

Located on the historic Tennessee River, approximately equal distance between downtown Knoxville and Fort Loudoun Dam sits the picturesque O'Connor Island. One of only three private islands on the chain of TVA lakes. No where else can one take in a magnificent sunrise from your private balcony and toast the gorgeous sunset to top of your happy hour. Minutes from McGee Tyson airport, downtown Knoxville, the Great Smoky Mountains and all the treasures of East Tennessee.

The cottage was designed and constructed in 2015 as a guest home for our children & grandchildren. We were motivated to achieve a sense of connection to the water and give a "houseboat" feel.

The cottage features beautiful high end kitchen with all the necessary appliances, utensils. There is a washer and dryer in the hall. The master bedroom is a queen-size bed with TV and ceiling fan.

The bathroom has a tub/shower combination with a jacuzzi option.

The loft features a fold out queen sized bed. There is a small adjacent room with two single beds and a crib.

There is WiFi and two smart TVs. The back deck offers a one mile+ river view and gorgeous sunrises.

Parking for 3 cars inside the gated island.

Guests will have access to the cottage side of the island for exploring. There is a small dock, hammock and firepit area for your use.
