This property is a wonderful seaside retreat. The owner is friendly and helpful, unit clean and comfortable, and location could not be better. It was so nice to wake up to the ocean and end our day with beautiful sunsets. We highly recommend this property.

Check-in was super easy - From the time we walked in, we felt relaxed, and at home. The bedroom looked out over the ocean - what a great view to wake up to.Absolutely an adorable place!!The owners came over and gave us their number in case we needed anything. The property was exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay and Elise was a wonderful host. Would definitely stay again. We enjoyed sitting out back at the fire. We also saw a lovely sunset just a short walk down the street. The sunrise was beautiful but I didn’t get a photo of it.

Hidden Gem, Darling decor

Check in was a breeze, Elise, the owner, knows answers to questions you didn't even have to ask! Kitchen is well stocked, even some snacks to enjoy. There's a lovely bedrm, comfy sheets & towels. Elise even has a sound machine incase you like white noise to sleep.

This is a gem of a place. Easy check in and out, super friendly and helpful host, and immaculate accommodations inside and out. The beach is literally out your back door! The house was stocked with basic essentials like laundry pods, coffee and even some snacks! Communication was very easy with Elise and when we needed something, she was on it. I would 100% stay here again.

Amazing!!!

We came to visit Boston coming from Texas and this location was absolutely amazing! Very beautiful view of the ocean everyday, and not too far away from the city life. Elise was amazing with making sure our stay was amazing and was easily available for any questions we may have. Hopefully will come back to Boston someday!

Amazing Spot and Hosts!

I couldn’t be more happy with our stay at this property in Winthrop. You’re directly on the oceanfront, you have a private spot for yourself (before the public beach), and are just steps away from entering the water. The hosts themselves are just so incredible and accommodating. They constantly checked in to see how we were doing, asking us about our son and dog’s time at the property, and wanted to be as accommodating as possible to make sure our stay was great. Cannot wait to stay here again. Absolute gem of a spot!

Perfect location, perfect property, absolute best host to boot! We couldn’t recommend this property enough. Elise was amazing from beginning to end and was so accommodating. We enjoyed sitting on the deck there our first night and spend the second day in Boston, which was such an easy drive in. We spend our last full day enjoying the house and the beach which is steps away. We felt right at home and even cooked at the house. The house was fully equipped with everything you’d need.

My boyfriend, my fur baby Bruin stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. It was the best vacation we’ve had in a long time. Very relaxing and quiet - minus the planes but it was cool to watch the planes coming in and out and it’s really not loud from inside the house. It was super clean and the bed was wicked comfy. Bruin learned to swim and loved rolling in the sand on the beach. The house had everything we needed. It was the perfect little get away. We are already planning on making this our yearly vacation spot!

The property is a beautiful shotgun style apartment that is very well appointed with new appliances, pans etc...There is a lovely deck situated on a private, secluded beach. The hosts are wonderful and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. You are within walking distance of the ferry that can take you into Boston and some cute restaurants. The only reason for not giving the place 5 stars is that the airplane noise is pretty significant and went on pretty much all day with few breaks, making it hard to sit outside and enjoy the beach. We were hoping for some quiet R&R by the ocean, and found the unpredictable noise impacted our stay.

I cannot say enough about how amazing our weekend away at Sea La Vie was! I would recommend this over and over. The home is absolutely beautiful and is exactly as each picture shown. Myself, my husband and our fur baby felt right at home. Craig & Elise are the nicest people and extremely accommodating. Elise had the kitchen stocked with more than I could have imagined, varieties of coffee & tea along with sugars, sweeteners, creamers and a cabinet of snacks. The bathroom provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash and the softes towels! I feel they go over and above to provide an exceptional getaway. So relaxing to hear the waves crashing out your window and to step out the door and right into the sand!!

Winthrop is a hidden gem, seaside town just a couple miles from Boston without the chaos of city life. There are also many great restaurants to choose from. The water view never gets old, no matter what time of the year!
