Rated a guest favorite and super host on other booking platforms, This pet friendly hidden gem is situated on a private little lane and is close to everything Wilmington has to offer!
• 2 bedrooms (each with a queen size bed)
• 2 full baths (one in MB)
• VERY large private fenced in backyard with picnic table and BBQ grille
• 2 miles from ILM airport
• 2 miles from downtown Wilmington with its restaurants, bars, Riverwalk, and more!
• 2.5 miles to the Convention Center and Live Oak Bank Pavillion Music/Show venue
• 5 miles to UNC Wilmington campus
• 6 miles to golf courses
• Less than 10 miles from Wrightsville Beach
• A short drive to Carolina Beach Amusement Boardwalk and miniature golf as well as the North Carolina Aquarium!
We are located on a shared private lane with two other cottages which is what makes this cottage so quaint and cozy! Relax and unwind in the homey living area, or on the front porch. Grab some steaks and grille in the large private fully fenced backyard were you furry friends can run and play.
The cottage is also a very short walk from a little goat farm where you can sit on a bench and see hosts, weather permitting. If you're lucky you may see a little baby goat. Ask me for directions!
We supply enough paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, tea, sugars and creamers to get you through your first couple of days. For longer stays there is a Food Lion supermarket less than 2 mi from the cottage.
There are 2 designated gravel parking spaces for the cottage, one in front and one on the side of the cottage. PARKING ON THE SHARED LANE OR GRASS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
For the safety of our guests the cottage has 2 active cameras overlooking the driveway/lane and front door and they record video and audio. These devices are on the exterior of the property and do NOT face into any windows.
We allow up to 2 dogs for an additional price of $30.00 per night. Dogs must be leashed at all times while in the front of the house but can run and play in the fully fenced in backyard. We ask that you please pick up any pet waste in the yard - we leave dog bowls, a dog bed, and a dog towel on top of the dryer for your dog. Please do not use the gift towel for dogs. dogs are not allowed on the bed for hygiene purposes.

Great place to stay! Michelle was a great host and house is new and well equipped with everything we needed!She has several extra “sussies” for you and your furry friends that are a real treat!!!Her quick communication is awesome and when we had an issue it was taken care of quickly!!!We will definitely stay here again!

Clear communication with host including suggested restaurants and sights. Clean, cute, and quiet cottage! We had a great stay! Would recommend.

This was one of if not the best experience my family has had using VRBO. The cottage was impeccable. Very easy access, great accommodations. All the comforts of home were available. Very close to many good restaurants and downtown Wilmington. It is also about 20-30 minutes away from Wrightsville Beach. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to the Wilmington area.

Lovely home! Very clean and spacious. Incidentals provided were above and beyond expectations! The yard was amazing! Will definitely stay again!

Perfect for the pups! Huge fenced in back yard with tall wooden fence. Michelle was awesome-she tried to help us find a local dog sitter when ours fell through and communicated with us the whole stay .The cottage was comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay.Close to beach and town too!Would certainly stay there again!!

Michelle was a wonderful host in all aspects of our stay. She was great with communication with fast responses. The cottage was clean, cozy and made our holiday getaway extra special. By far one of the best experiences! We will definitely be using Michelle for our next trip to NC!

I'm a retired Sr. Scientist from Northeast Pennsylvania. I love to make soap, cook, bake, and camp in my RV. I purchased this cottage so I could snowbird to North Carolina and visit my family, so I also live in this cottage part-time.

I chose this neighborhood because it's a quaint little cottage on a private lane. There are three cottages on the lane. It has a very private feel yet it's still close to everything Wilmington has to offer! I love sitting outside on the front porch and having my coffee in the morning or reading my book. Sometimes you may see a free range chicken from a nearby neighbors house walking across the front lawn.

The location of my home makes my property stand out. You can spend a day at the beach and come home to a nice quiet serene home and spend a relaxing quiet evening cuddling up on the couch watching TV or grilling a steak and chicken on the barbecue. It's only 2 mi from the airport and 2 mi from Downtown Wilmington and it's famous Riverwalk, restaurants, shopping, great bars and live music venues. Getting an Uber and going into town for an evening is a breeze! We are also very close to UNCW and Live Oak Bank Pavilion.
