Welcome to your easygoing escape on beautiful Lake Osakis! Just over two hours from the Twin Cities, Lake Osakis is a large, exceptionally clean and clear lake—perfect for fishing, tubing, kayaking, and all your favorite water sports.

This spacious, family-friendly cabin features 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests. It’s the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of lake life: start your day with early morning fishing, nap or watch a movie in the afternoon, head out for an evening boat ride, and end the night with a cozy fire on the patio—marshmallow stick in hand.

The public beach is just a mile away, and the nearest boat launch is even closer. Head into town to explore antique shops, local cafes, and the popular Panther Distillery. Don’t miss a stop at the charming, locally owned ice cream shop, Tip Top —our grandkids’ favorite treat spot!

Whether you're planning a peaceful family vacation or a fun-filled weekend with friends, this lakeside cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort, simplicity, and outdoor adventure.

The house is beautiful - it was easy to find - and Paul was such a welcoming host! 10 of us stayed a Thursday to Sunday and there was room to spare. The only thing we missed was a hand mixer for my mom's birthday angel food cake!

We had such a wonderful time staying here. We were here for time with family and we had lots of room. We got to bring our dogs at a very reasonable price and we spent time on the pontoon which was included. Paul the owner was very kind and wanted to make sure if we needed anything to call him. We would come back again and stay longer next time. Check this out you won't be disappointed!!

The owner, Paul, was friendly and truly wanted to provide the best experience he could for us. The remodeled house had a cozy cabin vibe and included a well stocked kitchen, lots of sleeping areas and bathrooms. The back patio was our favorite place to hang out with a lovely view. The fire pit attached to the porch was great to have. We loved the included pontoon and the option to bring our dog. Also, our grandson loved the swing. I have mobility issues so a few things were challenging but not impossible: slope/incline to the dock/lake, high top kitchen chairs and a few steps into the house at all entrances.

Over the ten years he has owned this property, he has put every piece of wood, rock and stone in place to create the beautiful up north experience we all love.

Friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help guests reel in a big one, Paul thrives on teaching and sharing his lifelong knowledge of Lake Osakis. If you are taking advantage of the guided fishing excursion during your stay, you are in for a treat! Paul doesn't just know where the fish are biting, he knows how to cook up a legendary fish fry.

Osakis is a quiet, charming town. Population 1771. It is a lake that I grew up on and that I would bring my kids to when they were growing up. There is always good fishing, clear, deep water, stunning wild life and friendly people.

You'll also find the fully stocked man cave/garage perfect for card games, movie nights, or passing the time on a rainy day. Outside there is a place to clean your catch and prep a lakeside feast.
