My family and I loved the house. It had a combination of old and modern design. It had central air conditioning and heating. The wifi was perfect too.It was extremely pet friendly and I felt very comfortable leaving my beloved puppy in the house alone. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

This place was not bad for the cost. But there was no washcloths, the TV remote was dead, (we had to go out and get battery’s). The stove has grease all over it. The place just really needs a good cleaning. Oh and there was no fitted sheet on the beds just a flat sheet. That was all. If the owner would spend some time a do a really good cleaning he could get more for this property. But the way it is now. I would not let my kids come stay here.

Our (wintertime) stay overall was fine, and we appreciated the value for the price we paid. But there were a few things that could be improved. One of the upper bedrooms was significantly colder than the rest of the house, especially when it was windy outside. In the very strong winds, the storm door kept blowing open and shut since it did not latch effectively. There were multiple non-functional light bulbs throughout the house. One of the beds had just a single sheet and no other blankets or bedspread on it when we arrived. There were not enough bath towels for the number of guests we made the reservation for. There is no dishwasher, but there also was not one in the listing so no harm there. There were a few areas that may not live up to some peoples’ cleanliness expectations. But we appreciated how close the unit was to the airport and other locations we wanted to be. Overall the photos of the unit matched what we saw in person.

The neighborhood is not good. There was a moldy and smoke smell and within 15 minutes we were getting headaches. The upstairs bedding did not smell clean. The walls above stove in kitchen were greasy. Light switch was missing the switch plate cover. We didnt end up staying. We found another place for the night. Also, there is no central AC. Just a couple window units.

I booked this before seeing the other review about odors. DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS LISTING NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. Upon entry, the downstairs smelled of strong air fresheners to cover up mold and smoke. I have allergies and asthma, and I knew there was mold and smoke bc symptoms were instantly triggered. The stove was covered in grease, and the “first aid kit” was 5 bandaids in a container. Had to leave the house due to a migraine triggered from the home conditions and I never went upstairs to see how bad it was up there. Messaged the host right away asking to cancel and refund. They said to open the window for an hour and run the fan and that would fix it. The kitchen window was already open when we got there. They ignored us for 2 days afterwards and refused to communicate, we had to drive to another city that night for last min lodging bc that house would make me sicker if we stayed there. They finally replied saying they sent someone over and they blatantly lied saying there were no odors and that the house was fine. The host was also rude to customer service and refused to work with us for a full refund. This property is being reported to the health dept for inhabitable conditions, and we are going through other consumer protections for a refund. I would give 0 stars but it is making me do at least 1. 0 stars, do not recommend.
