I enjoyed my stay at the Blue Iris Cabin. It was beautifully decorated and very very clean. It had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The land and property were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed fishing and relaxing on the dock. We had a fabulous time!

The cabin itself and the area were nice, but unfortunately the overall experience was stressful and poorly managed. We did not receive any check-in information before arrival, not even the master lock code or instructions on how to access the cabin key. After arriving, we had to spend a long time trying to reach the manager just to get access to the property, and communication was very difficult.During our stay, there was also a power outage because a transformer “popped,” which affected both electricity and water. The water pressure became extremely low, and at some point water stopped coming from the faucet completely. Some of our friends couldn’t even take showers, and washing dishes became very difficult.I understand that outages can happen, but better communication and preparation from management would have made a huge difference. Overall, the lack of organization and difficulty reaching anyone made this stay much more frustrating than relaxing.

Thanks for staying with us, we live on the property and almost all the guests come up to our house and ask for instructions even though their info has been sent. We did have a power outage the morning this guest was checking out about 10 a.m. Our check-out is at 11. So I know they were not very inconvenienced. A transformer blew at the property, we do not have any way of fixing a transformer, it is totally in the hands of the power company.

We were in town to visit our son & daughter in law, the place offered us lots of things to do while we were visiting. We were able to enjoy fishing & sitting by the water & playing some enthusiastic foosball & pool! Everything was clean, spacious and loved the smell of cedar. When we come back to visit our kids again we will definitely be booking this place again.

The property was stunning. I was a little shocked by the location of the cabins and really thought that the firepit, access to water was right out our back door, but it wasn't. We were planning on grilling and doing smores, but there was no firepit or grill at our cabin. The cabin itself was cute, but lacked necessities that are normally at a VRBO, such as spices (salt & pepper), wine glasses, dishwasher, extra pillows and blankets. The cleanliness of the cabin didn't hit it out of the park for me. The shower still had some hair and had some yellow gunk. Under the bed was full of dust and dust bunnies. These are all easy fixes though and I'm sure they will take care of these. They were easy to work with and very responsive.
