Appartement 1 chambre confortable dans une maison de canal historique dans un quartier résidentiel calme et trÚs populaire sur l'ßle de la ville d'Amsterdam `` Prinseneiland '', l'ßle est comme un village à l'ancienne dans le centre d'Amsterdam, et est habitée par un joli mélange d'artistes, des expatriés et des Amsterdamois traditionnels, à proximité des canaux et des principales attractions de la ville.

L'appartement a une atmosphĂšre trĂšs agrĂ©able avec un style «authentique», une cuisine ouverte entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e dans le salon, une salle de bain privĂ©e avec douche, Internet sans fil, une tĂ©lĂ©vision avec chaĂźnes internationales et bien sĂ»r une cafetiĂšre. Dans la chambre est un lit double et dans le salon il y a un canapĂ© qui peut Ă©galement ĂȘtre transformĂ© en un lit double confortable, si vous aimez dormir sĂ©parĂ©ment. (les coĂ»ts pour les draps supplĂ©mentaires sont de 10 euros). Les rĂ©servations sont pour 2 personnes maximum!
Tout dans cet appartement est en trĂšs bon Ă©tat!

Le quartier est idéalement situé à environ 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville animé avec de nombreux restaurants et magasins, la maison d'Ann Frank, la gare centrale, le quartier rouge, la place du Dam et le Westerpark et 3 jolis marchés le lundi ( artisanat), les mercredis (bio) et les samedis (agriculteurs).

Had a wonderful 3 night stay in this very cute and comfortable apartment. Emmy, the host, was there to greet us upon arrival to show us around the apartment and give us a run down on this charming and quiet community. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Great location walkable to shopping, dining, markets and tourist areas. Only a short Uber ride to train station and cruise port. Stairs are steep like most traditional Dutch homes so if you have mobility issues book the ground floor unit which is just as lovely!

It was a lovely quiet peaceful haven. In a family neighborhood within walking distance of the busy city. Very narrow stairs to walk up and down, especially with luggage. So you must be agile!

This apartment is in a perfect location with easy access to the bus and tram. Grocery store and restaurants are near by. The apartment is a very comfortable with a separate bedroom and a sofa that opens to a bed. This is our second stay here and it’s perfect! Quiet neighborhood just a short walk to everything you want in the center without all the noise and drunks. Emmy was great as we had some last minute arrival scheduling problems on our end and she made it work. We love her and this fabulous apartment.

Place was within an easy bus ride of Central Station and even a walkable distance.Emmy gave us great directions and was there greet us and help us get our luggage up the very steep stairs.We loved the neighborhood- very quiet and felt like locals. Emmy had lots of suggestions for groceries, cafes and pubs. 5 minute walk to Haarlemmerplein Square which has lots of stores and bus/tram connections.Only minor complaint is no a/c and was very warm in the apartment.

Emmy is a delight

Emmy’s 1st floor (which means upstairs in Europe) met our needs and enabled us to walk to most things of interest. It is on a nice quiet street in a quiet neighborhood. Emmy kindly pointed out where to find what and how to operate various things in the apartment. The layout required going through the bathroom to access the bedroom, which meant privacy had to be pre-arranged. The afore-mentioned stairs were tricky for the eldest guest, but Emmy was helpful in getting the bags up and down. We very much enjoyed our stay.

First the place is very clean. The place is about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the center of city. Tons of shopping and restaurants.Second...it says it's on the first floor. In Amsterdam the first floor is actually the second floor. Very steep stairs. If your older this will probably Not workWe had issues with the heat. Emmy kept telling us it was on but it wasn't. After three days she turned it up.

Comfy apartment in great location

The apartment was very comfy and had everything we needed. It is in a brilliant location - tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood with bags of character yet a short walk from the main sights. Emmy was welcoming and told us a bit about the area including a great local bar/restaurant ('t Blauhooft) which was friendly and had good food/beer. Highlights of our stay included Keukenhof and the Anne Frank Jewish Quarter Walking Tour. We'd definitely stay here again.

This first floor apartment in a historic canal house, is located in a quiet and very popular residential area on the Amsterdam city island 'Prinseneiland', The island is like an old fashioned village within the center of Amsterdam, and is inhabited by a nice mixture of artists, expats and traditional Amsterdam people, close to the canals and main city’s attractions, shops, restaurants and bars.
