We strongly disagree with this review and would like to clarify several inaccuracies. The guest checked in on Christmas Day, when the apartment office and maintenance were officially closed for the holiday. There were no prior reports or known issues with the bathroom sink before this stay. Once the guest notified us, we immediately contacted maintenance, who confirmed the issue was not classified as an emergency but still resolved it the very next day. At no point was the guest “without a bathroom for the entirety of the stay,” nor were maintenance requests ignored. All communication and timelines are documented. Regarding the claim of “eviction papers,” the documents referenced were not related to the guest’s unit or stay and did not impact the legality or safety of the booking. The listing was fully authorized and active at the time of check-in. Valet trash and shared amenities (hallways, pool) are managed by the apartment community, not individual hosts. Any temporary issues in common areas were outside of our control. A partial refund was not approved because the issue was addressed promptly and did not meet Airbnb’s criteria for compensation. We always strive to respond quickly and resolve concerns fairly, and we regret that the guest chose to misrepresent the situation in this review.
