Beautiful Property! Would Absolutely Stay Again! The property was absolutely beautiful! Honestly, even better than we imagined from the listing. Everything was incredibly clean, well- maintained, and exactly what we hoped for during our St. Pete vacation. We would come back again in a heartbeat!Just two small things worth mentioning for future travelers:For a family staying an entire week, having only two rolls of toilet paper provided wasn't ideal. Not a huge deal, but definitely something to plan ahead for. Also, the bed was extremely firm. Mattress preferences are personal, of course, but I do wish this had been mentioned in the listing, as it could make a difference for some guests.Neither of these things would keep us from returning! Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and the property itself was easily a 10/10. We'd happily book again and would absolutely recommend it to others!

The view is amazing, a perfect sunset every night. The unit could use a handyman for minor repairs, but nothing was serious. The rooms are very comfortable and all had views of the beach or the city. I would highly recommend this property and I would book again when I next visit St Pete.

Arrival to the property, check in went smooth. However the listing in November showed a beautiful pool in the pictures. Upon arrival the pictures of the pool were taken down and the pool was under construction. We get to the facility earlier than check-in and asked if we could hangout by the pool. The host responded ‘absolutely!’. When confronted of the situation they said yes there was no pool for the past 18 months. The rest of the week had its hurdles. Multiple maintenance men coming to fix the dish washer, WiFi, cable. The shower leaked. On Friday we pulled out the couch to turn it into a bed. Upon inspecting it, it was dirty and looked as if there was once bugs. That’s when we said screw it. We left. I do not recommend this condo or iTrips rental company.

Thank you for your feedback, Gwendolyn. We're sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We are disappointed to hear about this miscommunication regarding the pool and any maintenance issues you encountered. We strive to keep all listings up to date and photos of the pool were removed after the hurricane and not posted back up since. This experience does not meet our usual standards and guests can can get in touch with us 24/7 for any issues that may arise during their stay.

Points faibles : Communication
The lack of communication between the management team was terrible. My car got towed 3 hours of checking in. Got feedback that they should not have towed the car. 2 day later zero response from office management The worst customer service after staying in sunset chateau! I will spend my money somewhere else where the guest is respected!

The host's communication was excellent, and the condo was very clean and stocked with necessities like beach towels and extra toilet paper. The location and view were also wonderful. However, there were a few issues during our stay. The downstairs shower dripped constantly. I reported it, and the host quickly sent someone out, but it could not be repaired. The biggest disappointment was the pool. When we booked in February, the listing included pictures of the pool and advertised it as an amenity. We later learned the pool has actually been closed since 2024. Had we known this, we likely would have booked somewhere else. The outdoor water hose used to rinse sand off was also an issue. Because the pool area was fenced off due to construction, guests could not turn the hose on themselves. Several times it was turned off, and during our last two days it broke and had to be shut off completely, leaving us with no way to rinse sand off.The laundry facilities are not in the unit, cost 2.50 per load, and only accept cards, which was not mentioned in the listing. The washers were also out of service during our last two days, so we ended up bringing home wet, unwashed clothes. Many of these issues were not the host's fault, and I truly appreciate how responsive and helpful they were. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I believe the listing should be more transparent about unavailable amenities and a few maintenance issues need to be addressed.

Overall a nice value as you are on the top floor corner with nothing but a short beach and ocean below you. Beautiful views from your balcony. Also the back of the unit has a great view of the intercoastal. The 2nd bedroom is great for two kids as it's two double beds rather than 1 queen where most siblings don't want to share a queen. It was a bit disappointing that the pool no longer exists. Also, if you spend your days on the beach, there are no ground level bathrooms. You can see that they have done some partial updates but I think there is a real opportunity to update the bathrooms and kitchen, the dining area, and fixtures to give it more of an updated feel to match some of the other units that you walk by. But again, it's priced fairly and accordingly without those updates being so close to the ocean. Again, overall a nice value and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our key code getting into the complex after 4 o'clock in the afternoon didn't work, but the owner was very helpful in watching the chats and called us a different code. They had a lot of items in the kitchen, which were helpful. It was great to have beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler. The upstairs floor seemed a little gritty, but I took out a broom and swept itWe didn't have to request toilet paper because we were left with two partial rolls and two full rolls for six days and four people. We were also left with a half of a roll of paper towels. I walked to the nearest public and purchase some paper towels. The management company did bring us more roles of toilet paper.

Perfect location

We have stayed at Sunset Chateu 3 times and absolutely love the location of this place. We loved this particular unit because of the private balcony upstairs in the master bedroom. This unit was clean and reasonably priced but could use some updating. Just cosmetic issues like new paint and carpet would make a huge difference.

Loved Treasure Island…..had some issues with red tide but that is no fault of the owner. Owner was very responsive. Very friendly people around there. Pool was nice.

Great holiday.

We really enjoyed our vacation. The place was beautiful, inside and out, with minor needed updates and fixes. The living room couch is broken down and uncomfortable to sit or lounge upon and the refrigerator and freezer were not keeping items cold or frozen. This can be a relatively easy fix. We hope to come back next year. It was a good time.

Great stay

We were changed from our original place to this one due to “unforeseen circumstances”. This place is in a great location, pretty far walk out from the condo onto the beach though but walking distance to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to playground close by for kids. Place was clean enough but could definitely use a deep clean. Parking is great for one car- it was covered! Check in was easy and convenient. It was also easy to contact rental company for any concerns during our stay. Would stay here again!

Almost great place

This place has a great layout, location and beautiful views. We loved the balconies and really enjoyed the beach. It has a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances working well and comfortable furniture. Unfortunately the floors (tiles and carpet) need a thorough deep clean. We requested a remop which the service did perform unfortunately it didn’t help the ground in tile dirt and carpet dirt. My feet tuned completely black walking around.
