Gorgeous old building with wonderful character. Apartment is spacious, more than well equipped, filled with art â just beautiful. WiFi is fine, tv works well for streaming. Neighborhood is fabulous. And Olivier is a great host â communicates well, handles any request. We were there for 3 weeks and loved it. One caveat â there is a long stairway up to the apartment â 36 steps. So if climbing stairs is a problem, this may not be the place for you.
We spent a week at this apartment during the winter holidays, and we had a wonderful time. The place is just like the pictures: very charming and unique decor, and quite large. The three bedrooms are well separated, spacious, and each has access to its own bathroom, making this an ideal arrangement for an extended family/friends trip to give everyone enough space. The kitchen is well equipped for prepping and serving quick meals, but you won't need to cook with all the amazing boulangeries and restaurants in the area. The location is perfect, a 10 min walk to the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Rodin, and a 3 min walk to the 12 metro. WiFi worked great, the whole apartment was very well heated and the building is quiet. The apartment is one floor up from street level, with no elevator, but that was not an issue for us. Excellent communication with the host, who even helped us carrying our luggage.
