We fully enjoyed our five night stay in this unique property. The view is unmatched and in addition to being spotlessly clean the home is beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches that make it very vacation friendly. 10/10 recommended!!

This home is a magical gem on the bay! I want to share with everyone but also keep it to myself. It’s just that special! Erin has taken great care to make sure her guests have everything they need but also really lovely and unique touches throughout the property. We had the most delightful stay and can wait to return!

Clean, comfortable home with wonderful outdoor seating and spectacular waterfront view. Erin is a terrific and responsive host whose attention to detail makes for a very pleasant guest experience with lots of unexpected extras. Highly recommend this property.

Had a fantastic stay here. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, beautiful view of the water and an awesome place to catch a sunset. The host was absolutely amazing — friendly, personable, and quick to respond. Location was convenient and close to pretty much everything we wanted to do. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The house was a perfect size for us (2 adults and our dog), well maintained and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the little blue house. It was perfect for my husband. It was near everything and far away to relax and enjoy the beautiful water. All the comforts of home for us and our two small dogs. My husband is tall so the bed in the blue lighted room was a little small. We would love to stay there again. Thank you for sharing your sweet home.

My stay was absolutely perfect. My host, Erin, was very accommodating and responsive. The house is fun, spotless, and the neighborhood is quiet. You may witness deer coming by from time to time, outdoor games and activities where readily available. It was better than I anticipated. Highly recommend Erin and this house.

If a designer boutique hotel had a baby with a cute beach cottage, this would be it! Everything about this house is high end - bedding, towels, dishware, decor and design are all top notch. The towels and bedding were like new (if they weren't, they sure appeared that way!). The pictures are very accurate and it was the cleanest property we've ever stayed at!Location, location, location! It's in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything on route 50 and minutes to the OC beachfront. Sunsets were fantastic! My girlfriend and I loved this house! Erin was very responsive and explained the check in and out process extremely well. I can't say enough good things about this property! We'll be staying again in the future when we visit OC. Thank you Erin!

Sunset on Sussex is so much more than just a vacation rental to me. It’s a little piece of my heart. I actually grew up directly across the street, and years later, having the opportunity to purchase this home, renovate it, and turn it into something special has been a dream come true. I have poured so much love, time, thought, and attention into every little detail, from the bedding and décor to creating that boutique hotel feeling while still maintaining the warmth and charm of a cozy waterfront cottage. Knowing that you noticed and appreciated those details means absolutely everything to me. My greatest hope has always been that guests would walk through the door, immediately feel at home, and leave with beautiful memories of their time here. Hearing that you and your girlfriend loved the house, enjoyed those incredible sunsets, and felt so comfortable during your stay is exactly why I do this. And your comment about a designer boutique hotel having a baby with a cute beach cottage? I absolutely LOVE that! It may just be my favorite description of Sunset on Sussex ever!
