We loved this cabin! It was so cozy and very comfortable. We definitely loved how secluded it was. Yet, the drive to downtown was so convenient. We frequently visit the Hill Country but this was our first time in Wimberley! We will definitely stay here again!

Overall not a bad little vacation house. The bed is a double with an old mattress. The bed was just uncomfortable. An old man came in on our last full day because he wasn’t sure what dates we rented for. That interruption messed up the whole purpose of renting a secluded cabin. Also, small things that were missing like hand soap at the kitchen and bathroom sinks… a tiny amount provided, but we had to buy more. We also had to buy Kleenex… at least, one box provided would have been nice. Just small things added up to make this less than 5 stars.

Hot tub need To go to the dump!!! For us older people the tv to be bigger ( tv are cheap at Walmart)!! The commode was horribly nasty soap and water is cheap for cleaning bathrooms!!! Need a curtain over the kitchen sink!!! The outside need to be clean up around the pool apron and ground area needs to be pick up trash on the ground . Outside lighting around the pool area needs attention. Walk way to the front door needs leveling . From 1 to 10 -5!

Very relaxing. The outdoor extras ( pool, hammock) and the fact that it is very secluded, made our get away!

Great time

The property was amazing and the house was very comforting. We spent an amazing weekend there and it was very relaxing. The pool was amazing during the day and the hot tub was great in the evenings. I would stay here again and recommend others to stay here as well.

Points faibles : Communication
Nice cottage. A perfect getaway for 2 except the hot tub did not work and could not get any communication response with the host. The hot tub was one of the reasons we stayed here and we could not use it. We actually contacted the help desk with the hot tub manufacturer and after an hour they informed us it could be one of 3 possible reasons it did not work and we would need to call a technician for repair. Obviously we didn't. The host seemed to cut corners with the little stuff- no paper towels, 2 wash clothes for 2 people for 3 days. Actually went to the laundromat so we would have clean wash clothes and towels. (no responses from host) . First VRBO we have stayed in that did not have a "binder" with information on the facility and information on restaurants, sites in town etc. Other little things that took a potentially great experience to an ok one. We had hoped this would be a regular getaway for us, great, quaint cottage for 2 with a pool and hot tub, but management is very iffy.
