We could not have been happier with our stay at Juniper, the cottage was lovely - comfortable, clean, and cozy. The screened-in porches off every bedroom are a unique feature of this great home; you can sit on any of them and enjoy the peace, feeling like you're nestled in the middle of the woods, yet only a short walk from Mirror Lake and all the village has to offer.We used the gas fireplace in one of the two master bedrooms, and enjoyed the solo stove in the yard. We'd love to return in the winter! No matter the season, I imagine Juniper to be a perfect choice for a Lake Placid stay.

Absolutely wonderful home in a quiet location, walking distance to lake, beach, restaurants, Olympic skating rink and shopping. Great place for our family group of 3 generations. Our family loved fire pit and plenty of yard area, too. Nice having 4 bathrooms for the 8 of us. Note: Well-equipped kitchen is very small and there is an open metal spiral staircase down to 4th bedroom and laundry. Not ideal for toddlers.

Juniper cottage was amazing. Clean, cozy & well stocked. We had a wonderful weekend with our 3 kids & our parents. We really enjoyed the fire place, outdoor fire pit & all of the screened in porches! We made some amazing memories & hope we can make this our annual spot to stay!

Juniper Cottage was perfect for our winter holiday getaway. It was well appointed and had everything we needed. The picture window offered a lovely view of evergreen trees covered in snow, while inside we stayed warm and cozy. We enjoyed cross-country skiing at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, and the town of Lake Placid is charming, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Eric was very responsive to our questions, and the logistics were straightforward and easy.

Very quiet, out-of-the-way place to stay with a group of family and/or friends. Four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and porch. Highly recommended for cookouts and long talks by the fire-pit.

Quaint Historic Cottage

We loved our stay at Juniper ! Such a quaint historic Lake Placid Cottage. It was so nice to have a private, secluded feeling, yet be so close to town and Olympic sites.

We had such an amazing weekend at the Juniper! It was a beautiful property. Exactly as advertised… great response from the owner and we lucked out having 20” of snow during our stay. It was so cozy, warm and inviting…

Pond Hockey Weekend

Loved the quiet location off of miracle lake drive, zero traffic, spacious home with everything our team needed. Hosts were terrific as well.
