Situé sur Grafton Street, à côté du célèbre « Pizza Corner », vous serez au cœur de la vie nocturne du centre-ville d'Halifax, à deux pas de tous les principaux restaurants, bars et sites touristiques ! Allez vous promener sur le front de mer d'Halifax ou assistez à un match des Mooseheads ou à un autre événement au Scotiabank Centre. Inutile de vous soucier de la conduite : cet emplacement est un véritable paradis pour les piétons ! Vous pourrez effectuer la plupart de vos découvertes à pied ou en Uber. Bien que nous ne disposions pas de parking sur place, de nombreuses places payantes sont disponibles à proximité immédiate de l'immeuble. Le quartier de Pizza Corner est réputé pour sa vie nocturne et ses pizzas « d’après-bar » ; vous devez vous attendre à entendre un peu de bruit provenant des rues du centre-ville après la fermeture des hébergements le week-end, ce qui est indépendant de notre volonté. Si vous êtes sensible au bruit, nous vous suggérons d’utiliser un générateur de bruit blanc, des bouchons d’oreille ou de séjourner dans un quartier plus calme d’Halifax.

This had everything we needed. It is small but perfect for two people. The location is really good for lots of food options and easy access to the harbour front. It is noisy at night - a noisy corner because it’s so busy.

The location was great walking wise to everything but extremely loud until about 4am. They blast music across the street on outdoor speakers which makes it really hard to sleep. The shower curtain was all full of mildew so the first day we had to walk to get a new one. The towels had seen better days and I found a pair of glue on eyelashes on mine 😳 The living room is extremely small but if the bed could fit there it would be a lot better for sleeping as the noise in the actual bedroom is so loud. The bathroom being in the hallway was fine other then there were constant people upstairs in the two storage rooms, it wasn’t every once in awhile as listed. I would only recommend this place if you don’t mind loud music all night and a lack of privacy using the bathroom.

This tiny apartment is location is really central and the price was also very good. The apartment is old and rustic but clean. Only thing we encountered was some things under the bed which was not a big deal.I think it is important to know that just as the description says, it is in the main party area and not only during the weekend but every night there was people in the streets partying, screaming and fighting until 4:30 AM. It didn’t really bother us. What did bother us was the constant smell of Rosie’s Burgers that is directly below the apartment. The exhaust from the restaurant fills the apartment from 10:00 am when you hear them turn on the exhaust until 3am or 4am when they shut them off. There is no air conditioning or fans so having the windows open to get some air into a hot apartment makes it worse. Our clothes and hair smell like burgers and I was sick to my stomach by the end of our 5 night stay. There are air filter machines by the windows to help but it is just too much to really do anything.My other issue was the lack of communication. I tried to contact the owner 2 months before we arrived, the day we arrived and 2 days before we left and never got a response.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The apartment was clean,comfortable, and cozy. I came to Halifax to attend a concert at the Scotiabank Centre. It couldn't have been more conveniently located. It was literally, just a short walk away. In fact, I was able to go just about everywhere I wanted to on foot. For longer trips, Uber is easily available. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I especially liked the Wooden Monkey. Because of being located in the heart of downtown Halifax, I expected some street noise. Many of the restaurants are open very late. But I had brought along my sound machine to block out any noises, and was able to sleep soundly. This is a lovely heritage property, that has been updated somewhat. But not Too much. I was not looking for a cookie-cutter "box"type of place to stay.You can find that Anywhere. It has more of a boho, artsy vibe. I just loved the way it was decorated. So much so, that I bought a boho wool throw identical to the one in the apartment, from the very popular Black Market Boutique located on the first floor of the building! Now I will always have something to remember my stay there, whenever I use it. This apartment is ideal for someone traveling alone as I was, or for a couple. Maybe a bit small for families.The bathroom is located in the hallway, out side of the apartment itself.This should not be an issue though, as you will have the whole floor to yourselves. If I'm ever in Halifax in the future, I'd ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Great location but very cramped. Building kind of smells. We found things from previous stays in the unit (someone’s shirt and bra) and the bathroom (2 empty toilet paper rolls) and neither space was super clean. Bathroom is indeed out of the unit in the hall, but the door to it is wide open when not in use and there were constantly people walking around the hall going in and out of the storage units. Not convenient for showering. Incredibly warm during the summer and very loud as it is directly above pizza corner. Would only recommend for a short stay downtown where you are not in the unit for long.
