The Space:

Completely renovated and updated 1930's beach house ready to host your beach adventures! Enjoy residing in a quiet neighborhood within a few steps away from the beach. Relax with a beverage around the firepit on the furnished patio, or head inside to relax in the central air conditioning. You'll be able to cook up a delicious dinner in the full kitchen, which is painted in cheerful beach colors just like the rest of the home. Amenities like a private washer/dryer and a desk workspace on the third floor (perfect for remote work or school assignments) make this home a family-friendly retreat perfect for all ages.



What's nearby:

When you're not relaxing at the beach, there's plenty to enjoy in the area! Guests are less a quarter mile from the historical John's Pass & Boardwalk at this home, where it's easy to enjoy local restaurants and shopping. Guests can even rent jet skis and hop on a fishing charter! For local food, guests can enjoy The Boardwalk Grill and Mad Beach Craft Brewing within a mile of the home. Don't forget to walk over to the Candy Kitchen for a frozen banana! For a fun local adventure, walk one-third-of-a-mile over to the Alligator and Wildlife Discovery Center and enjoy getting up close and personal with some of Florida's most famous animals.

A few more kitchen amenities. It got cold, so extra blankets. Furniture is not comfortable. Only used master bed, but other did not feel comfortable. Nicely redone, but felt it was a surface facelift, not a full restoration of damages from Helene and Milton. While listed as ocean or beach front, the beach is only visible from one blocked window. Be aware this is a the story property. It is also an older property and you can hear all noise from outside which is close to the main Street.

Location, Location, Location!

Perfectly positioned getaway
Close to John’s Pass and just steps from the beach. The listing should offer a more detailed description and photos of the floor & room layout as this property is better than advertised. Other than the fire pit flaming (out of propane) out 20 minutes into lighting it was perfect.

Pros: very close to Johns Pass, approx a 3 to 5 minute walk, property was nicely decorated and clean and had plenty of everything you would need. Cons: there was road construction going on literally right outside the front door which was noisy and disruptive and could not sit outside, I should have been advised ahead of time. Downstairs bathroom was old and the shower did not work, so we all used the upstairs shower. Microwave tripped a fuse which knocked out half the kitchen including fridge and the back bedroom including ac. We searched everywhere for the breaker box which ended up being locked in a room behind the house. Vacasa gave us the runaround for 2.5 hours before agreeing to send somone to reset the fuse. They kept asking me to run around the house to look for the fuse box despite me telling them over and over that its not in the house, meanwhile the guy they sent used a screwdriver to pry open the back door. Honestly this was just aggrevating and because of these two issues I would not stay again.

One of a kind! This house is a gem!

The house had everything we needed! Beach supplies towels sand toys chairs
. You name it they had it! The description on Vrbo doesn’t begin to explain how close the house is to the beach entrance or how well stocked the house is to make your stay great! This is by far my favorite rental I have stayed in and we travel 3-4 times a year! We had an issue with a leaky ac and with in minutes of me notifying them I had message saying they where coming to fix it and no one had to be present
 the issue was fixed right away. Very easy process and will definitely stay here again in the future

Madeira Beach cottage

This cute, quirky and comfortable cottage was perfect for our family of five. The accommodation is just steps to the sand, and a very short walk to John’s Pass. It has been renovated and decorated tastefully and with a lot of care. It has the charm of an old-fashioned beach cottage, yet we found everything to be updated and in working order.

Great Beach House!

We’ve stayed at a few different properties in the Treasure Island area and this is our favorite so far! This place is less than a 1/4 mile walk to John’s Pass and about 100 yards from the beach. The property itself is clean and spacious and has everything you need for a vacation to the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, coolers, boogie boards, frisbees, etc can all be found in the storage shed adjacent to the home which is a huge plus! This place was perfect for our family of four! We will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we are in the area!

OVER THE TOP satisfied!

I’ll be honest with everyone, Im one of those people that can *usually* find something wrong or a downfall/shortcoming in some regard
 This property made that virtually impossible for me! This was a combined birthday/mothers day/Father’s Day gift to my mother and father in law, they love Florida and are always excited for a trip as we are. (There were 4 of us staying) My mother n law actually commented that “this by far, is the cleanest rental property I’ve ever stayed in” At the end of the day, everything was wonderful from a housing and location standpoint. With the beach literally being a few steps away was HUGE for us. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and would encourage ANYONE to do the same. Thank you for everything and thank you for the memories that we will remember for a lifetime!

Nice House

This is a very nice two bedroom house in a good neighborhood located within a 5 minute walk to John's Pass and an even closer walk to the beach. The house has all you could ask for if you want to make meals at home, even a gas grill. There are beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. and a wagon to take all the items to the beach. There is a nice sitting area outside the front door with a gas fire pit. The inside is very nice and there are numerous stairs leading up to the family room and more leading to the bedroom with bunk beds. There was more than enough room and places to sleep for a family of seven. We would stay here again if we make it back to the area.

Spring break 2022

We loved the location. The beach was steps away and the ability to walk into John’s Pass was awesome. It was very convenient! Communication with Vacasa is very easy to do and everyone was very accommodating. One thing that would be excellent is purchasing a new queen size mattress for the third floor bedroom. A full size is small for a couple and the mattress is not very comfortable. Loved the outdoor area with the fire table. We used it every morning for coffee and every evening after dinner as well!

Excellent Location & Family Getaway

We loved our stay. The house is exactly how described and the location can’t be beat. It’s close to main road so there is road noise, but the beach is a 30 second walk and you’re in paradise. House comes very well stocked with plenty of towels for both the beach and showers. There is a shed full of beach chairs, boards, etc, although the beach chairs are well loved and could use being replaced. I would say the same about the frying pans and spatulas in the kitchen. Both could use replacements, but aside from those items, everything else was great. The layout is funky with the three floors and bedrooms on each of them, but for our adult family of five it was perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Meticulously decorated and a true beach cottage gem!!

Beautiful Madeira Beach beachouse

Loved loved loved it!!! The beachouse was absolutely beautiful, clean, airy, spacious, and very relaxing, we almost didn't want to go anywhere else. The beach was literally just steps away. Everything you need is right there. Will definitely go back! Can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Review

Great location. Only issues were the AC had a hard time keeping the 1st floor cool and the shower in the 2nd floor bath leaked on the floor because there was a gap between the glass panel and door. Very nice otherwise.
