Quiet and convenient, good pool and quick access to the beach. Close to coffee shops, grocery store, and numerous dining options. Easy drive to everything Kihei has to offer. One of our favorite places to stay on Maui.

Condo needs some significant TLC. Needs "real" cleaning, painting, and condition of some furnishings is terrible. Homeless people outside property is disturbing.Location is quite good but never found any property manager onsite if we had wanted to ask ask any questions.Benn going to Maui for over 25 years. This was a so so stay.

Wonderful stay in Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was superb as it was close to the beach and pool. The grounds are very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed to cook meals and live as if we were at home. The beach chairs and towels were a plus. We will definitely book again!

It was not clean.The mosquito net for the lanai was almost not to open as it was really in a poor condition and it also had already a lot of holes.Also it smelled awful in this condo. After one Night we left and and went to another hotel because of the horrible situation.

First Vacation Ever

Our condo was wonderfully located right beside the beach with a pool right out our sliding glass door. It was stocked with plenty of beach towels and chairs that we were able to use on our excursions. Our overall stay was extremely enjoyable. If we ever make it back to Maui we will definitely be staying there again!

Unbelievably Negative Experience

This was a unbelievably negative experience for our family. We went for the cheaper property on the beach thinking we could overlook the dated decor. This is a mistake we will not revisit in the future. There were pros and cons to our stay. Pros: The property is located in a quiet, gorgeous location just steps away from a nice pool and pristine beach. The grounds were well manicured with lush vegetation. Nearby restaurants and amenities provided added convenience. Cons: The property is in desperate need of updating and a thorough cleaning as almost everything housed within was dirty and grimy. Upon our arrival, we noticed the shower floor had sand a hair, the bed linen had dirt on the edges, the items in the kitchen had food and grime suck to them, the sofa bed had huge stains, the extra sheets for the sofa bed were incredibly fithy, the pillows were beyond dirty and needed to be replaced, and the ironing board cover was fithy and worn out. The restroom was a wet room requiring us to squeegee the floors after each person showered. With a toddler in tow this was less than convenient and unsafe. The only reason we dud not seek other accommodations was due to emergency hospital visits which took priority over everything else during our trip. We will visit the island again but will avoid this property.

It's so nice being able to walk right onto the beach to watch the sunrise, sunset, turtles and whales. The condo was well equipped and is a very comfortable homebase with great porch furniture. The unit could benefit from a good deep clean, especially the bathroom and bedroom, and the bed is very soft. We'll definitely keep coming back to this complex/unit!

We love the location as it’s out of the busy part of Kihei, right on the beach and has a great pool. The manager, Henry ,does a fantastic job keeping the shared areas in great shape. Rentals Maui are great to work with and are quick to resolve any issues you have. This unit is well equipped with almost everything you will need during your stay. However, when doing long stays it would be great to have some basic cleaning supplies and extra set of sheets provided. We always love our month in Maui.

Beautiful location

We loved this property! The location is ideal with direct 1-2 min walk to a gorgeous beach. Warm and clean pool, quiet, clean grills, lush green grass and beautiful landscape?? The only downsides were that the AC was only a portable unit in bedroom that is on a timer that shuts off after only 2-3 hrs so always waking up in night sweats. The shower did not drain and water backed up on the bathroom floor. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property!

Great stay!

Waiohule Beach Hale is a great complex that we have stayed at before and hope to return to many times in the future. The location is perfect and the beach has the most amazing sunsets.

Wonderful vaction

We love the location and I swam 22 of our 28 days! Our children live in Kihei and could come and enjoy dinner I prepared in a well equipped kitchen! We enjoyed the trip to Hana and were picked up by the van at our location! Perfect!

Perfect location for a quiet beach vacation

Reviewer Comments: We have had stayed several times in different units at this complex and love it here for the location (in a quieter area of Kihei, right on the beach, great pool, beautiful sunsets...). This unit has a well equipped kitchen and a comfy bed. Although basically clean , this unit REALLY needs a deep cleaning. While staying in the unit we did have some issues but Rentals Maui was quick to fix most of these. The soap door on dishwasher has now been replaced, a new on-demand hot water heater has been installed, and the AC hose has been repaired so it doesn’t fall out in the bedroom. I love the pool here, although it was cooler than usual for the first few weeks of our stay. Once the needed repairs were done, the pool was a great temperature again. I highly recommend this location. Looking forward to returning again next November 😎
