The Space:

A sandy path through the dunes leads you to the open sands of Rockaway Beach at this oceanfront home mere blocks from the heart of downtown. You'll take long walks on the sand and you'll be welcomed home in the afternoons by a sunny deck.



This home occupies one half of a duplex, with a long deck running the length of the house that's divided between the two sides. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by large picture windows that frame the dunes, a stacked washer/dryer to refresh the day's towels, and free WiFi to assist you in sharing your latest vacation photos. The open living space is outfitted with beachy rattan furniture and aTV with streaming capability to help you relax after a day spent in the ocean waves. The well-appointed kitchen includes full-size appliances, a bistro table for two, and a peninsula breakfast bar with a pair of bar stools.

The free WiFi will support streaming, but please note that it is not high-speed.

The wood fireplace is not for guest use.

We do not encourage swimming here, due to the cold temperatures of our waters and dangerous rip tides.

Fabulous beach location

We loved the beach front location, and the short walk to restaurants and shops. Beautiful Oregon coast. The house had everything we needed and was clean.

This is place was great! Lots of space inside, everything was very clean and well stocked. We loved the ability to close the gates to the front and back of the property. Super easy beach access! We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Getaway

This was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space for two of us and our dog. Small kitchen area, but well stocked with table and cook-ware (bring your own spices and sauces - if you are cooking). Great location with coast access. Really good local food options. Highly recommend for small group / family getaway!

It was pretty much exactly what we needed. Easy beach access. There were a couple of minor glitches with the property, but nothing insurmountable. And the Vacasa staff were very helpful.

It is a great location and pet friendly. I would only add that in description put the kitchen has just basics so people with know to bring anything special they need. Also there was not any kleenex.

Family vacation

This was a wonderful place that is well laid out and perfectly located. Getting to the house is difficult using maps but you need to just follow the address not the maps. Very comfortable with everything you need ready to go! Can’t wait to stay again.

Perfect Getaway

Excellent beachfront access. We had a wonderful time as a family staying in this well kept duplex. Would love to come back with more family/friends and rent out both units! The units are separated by a nice breezeway so you have the privacy if you want it, but also the convenience if you want to rent out both. Nice setup and walking distance to all things Rockaway.

Great beach getaway

Great location with room for 4. Close enough to walk to town. Great beach for walking and lots of kids and dogs to watch frolicking in the surf. Clean overall. Would be good to specify what kind of coffee maker (drip or pods). Plastic deck chairs need to be replaced. Great value for a beach stay.

Perfect for a quick getaway

Right on the beach. Loved we could walk over and grab happy hour (gluten free clam chowder). Local bakery had a few gluten free options. The kitchen had most of the basics. If you plan on cooking plan accordingly. Would rent again.

Hop, skip or jump to the beach

This was a perfect set up for our family of four. Kids could walk to the beach and easily bring all we needed. House was fresh and clean. Loved having a washer and dryer available! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Paradise North

Paradise North made for a great beach trip August 2023. The property has ample parking with a shared outdoor patio & easy Rockaway beach access past the dunes. The kitchen was convenient for cooking but limited supplies so bring your own. For coffee, there is both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker (#4 basket filter). The beds were comfortable and the TV and WiFi worked well. Would stay again.

Excellent location

Me and 2 best girlfriends stayed a few days on the beach. Loved this place, very accessible to the beach. Seriously only 3 min walk to water. Gorgeous views. Quaint friendly area, we enjoyed meeting locals and eating fresh crab The unit was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed as we did cook many meals. Beds were comfortable. Heat worked well when needed No complaints. We all had a fabulous visit. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

On the beach and close to town.

Nice place with comfortable beds and easy beach access. The yard is mostly fenced in and the place is dog friendly. The only problems were the tub drain was very slow. We informed housekeeping so I am sure it will be taken care of. Also the oven was a little finicky but we finally got it to do what we needed. We would definitely rent here again.
