Great stay!

Nice location, great view, responsive host, clean accommodations. Thank you! I appreciated the extra towels and available beach equipment. Only negative was that the A/C units were incredibly loud, both in the bedroom and the living room.

First impression was that the unit was small and dated compared to some newer condos I’ve rented in the area. In all fairness, the photos are accurate. It just felt small. The ocean view was ok and the lanai was kind of cramped. The small beach across the street was perfect for sunsets. While not a luxury suite, it was clean and thoughtfully stocked beyond the required items with everything we needed for a comfortable stay including beach chairs and toys, lounge chairs, snorkel equipment, some staple food items (salt, pepper, sugar) and more. There were extra fans to supplement the window a/c units and ceiling fans. The complex was very quiet, there was plenty of convenient parking, the pool and jacuzzi were clean. The bbq grills were pristine. The living room/dining room furniture was typical for older Kihei condos but the bedroom furniture was newer and the bed was very comfortable. The tv was kind of small and since the a/c was next to the couch, it was a little tricky to find the perfect viewing spot to see, hear and not freeze. (There’s no tv in the bedroom). Personal subscriptions to streaming channels worked fine. I couldn’t get any local/free channels. The appliances were ok (standard coffee maker - no keuric, ok refrigerator and toaster, very good stove and dishwasher, large washer, interesting dryer).Overall, what the unit lacked in beauty it made up for in functionality. It works well for 2 adults. I would rent it again.

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. It was very clean, and comfortable. Having breakfast every morning on the lanai with a view of the ocean was the best. The condo had everything we needed for a perfect getaway vacation .

first trip to maui

this was both my boyfriend and my first time visiting maui and i feel like i just choose the perfect place to stay. it was nice and quiet not too many people but the neighbors we did meet were just amazing. they had the best stories and recommendations. we had an amazing trip and were able to hit every spot we wanted to with the location being in a central spot as well. we will definitely stay at this location again our next trip.

Kihei Bay Vista is such a nice smaller complex with all the extras, pool, jacuzzi, outside bbq area and ocean views. Our unit is clean and comfortable - a combination for a perfect vacation.

Awesome Kihei Property

This property is awesome. I'm a former Maui resident and found this place ideal for our visit. The pool was just off the lanai for easy access. The beach is just a short walk as well as local shops and restaurants. The Tradewinds made our stay comfortable. Will book again. Mahalo.

Besides emails, we had no contact with the host but we had no concerns. We had everything we needed. One thing that could be added is a hand rail in the shower for us older people. The instructions for the air conditioning and tv use could be updated. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.
