This was our second time here and it was even better than the first! It’s a beautiful house that is so welcoming to both humans and dogs alike! Our dogs loved the backyard and it’s a fabulous location to check out the Soo Locks and Tahquamenon Falls (and so many other places!) I’m sure we’ll be back again!

The property was very clean and the pictures were detailed and accurate. Communication with the host was very easy. Good location and easy walking distance to the quaint downtown. We did not have any issues during our stay.

My dogs joined us on our trip to the opening of the Soo Locks. The house was so spacious and had just about everything we could want! Michael was very quick to respond to messages and was an amazing host! The house was a perfect meet up place for family to join us and we loved the game room!

The home was lovely! We were there in order to attend family gatherings elsewhere, but it was a comfortable place to land, and is well stocked with games for nights in. The host was responsive and prompt to any questions that came up!!

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at this house. The outside was a little shady when we pulled in, but the inside was everything we needed. We never felt unsafe. It was so nice to have a bedroom for each adult with a room for the kids to share. There was record heat in Michigan so it did get hot the first 2 days, but Michael was super responsive and went and got a window unit and some fans for us to try to keep cool. We made a few meals there and had just about everything we needed. We don't usually watch TV on vacation, but since it was so hot out, we were able to enjoy a couple of movie nights while here as well. The house was convenient to the locks and tours - you could walk about a mile but with the heat we did not. Parking was available free downtown in the depot lot just at the end of town so we used that. We also took a day trip to Whitefish point. Overall this was a great value and I would recommend for anyone coming to the area.

This house was perfect for our family of nine adults and one grandchild. We enjoyed the games and playing cards in the game room and just hanging out with the family--something that does not happen often! Although the kitchen had plenty of plates, cups, silverware, etc., we did miss a large bowl or baking pan for our big batch cooking, as we ate every meal there, but made things work! We would definitely go back!

Interior was good, exterior was a bit rough. Had everything we needed and the host was very responsive. There was a good amount of kitchen necessities as well as spices and coffee overall, it was just what we needed.

We are all very pleased with our choice to stay at Michael's property in Sault ste Marie. The house was exactly as pictured in the listing and was very clean and comfortable. It saved the day that there was coffee onsite as we forgot to bring ours! We shopped locally for food and everything we needed to cook and eat (Pots, pans, dishes, cups, silverware etc} was available in the kitchen and there were even grilling tools available, and so we also used the grill in the back yard. The game room was also very fun. The ability to bring our pet dog and have a fenced in backyard was awesome!I would recommend this house to anyone seeking accommodations in Sault ste Marie and we would stay here again.

The inside of the property was wonderful. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and the amenities (the bath towels were the best we ever used - we bought some when we got home).The neighborhood is not picturesque. The neighbor is a junk yard. But it is very convenient to places in town. Garage is nice and 1 additional parking spot in front plus street parking. Also, outside needs a lot of work. Yard was in disrepair. There is a nice grill, but the yard needs outdoor seating. Not much rook for it though. The house siding and yard needs ton of work.This is a 5 star internal property. It's probably a 2.5 on the outside. But since we didn't spend a lot of time outside (only really cooking on the grill), this property is a 5 star location in our books.Thanks for the great stay!

We stayed with our high school basketball team for camp at Lake State. Normally we stay in dorms and hang out at the gym all day. Having the spacious clean house let us all hang out and watch basketball on TV together, play video games and grill food. It was a great experience and we got to have clean jerseys each day with the laundry downstairs. We will definitely be back to the Soo next year and use the property. The boys really enjoyed the bunk room and we all had plenty of personal space.

This was a great spot for our family of seven to stay for a long weekend. We had everything we needed and there was plenty of space. It was a nice location, it was an easy walk to the downtown/locks area.
