This well-loved, family-owned cottage offers four comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and everything you need to relax and reconnect with nature.
Step outside and enjoy stunning lake views from the deck, grill dinner on the BBQ, gather around the outdoor fire pit, or unwind on the private dock. There is plenty of parking available. Please note: the ownerâs boat and Seadoo on the dock are not available for guest use.
Whether youâre looking to unplug, recharge, or make lasting family memories, this Three Mile Lake cottage offers a true Muskoka experience â peaceful, comfortable, and full of charm.
1. Three Mile Lake:
Our cottage sits directly on the beautiful shores of Three Mile Lake. While the lake is a wonderful spot to relax and take in the views, please note that blue-green algae blooms can occur in late summer, particularly after August 10th. This doesnât happen every year, but when it does, swimming may not be possible.
Because water conditions are out of our control, we kindly recommend considering this if swimming is an important part of your stayâespecially if booking later in August. We want you to have the best experience possible!
2. Watercrafts:
Please note the ownerâs Seadoo and wake boat will be at the dock and are strictly off-limits. You`re welcome to bring your own Seadoo or small fishing boat, but space is limited for larger watercraft.
3. Water Depth:
Three Mile Lake is shallow at the shorelineâonly 3.5 to 4 ft deep at the dock. The lakeâs median depth is 11 ft, with a maximum of 36 ft. For safety, diving is strictly prohibited at all times.
4. NO A/C:
Please note: the cottage does not have A/C. It stays comfortable for most of the summer with a large ceiling fan in the living room and individual fans in each bedroom. On extremely hot days, it may feel warm indoorsâif you`re sensitive to heat, we kindly suggest considering this before booking.
5. Drinking water:
The cottage has a drilled well and a UV filtration systemâtap water is safe and drinkable.
6. Pets:
Pets are welcomeâup to 2 per stay. Please reach out if you`re traveling with more, as exceptions may be possible. A pet fee applies per pet.
Please note: guests must clean up after pets, be responsible for any pet-related damage, and assume responsibility for pets to not enter the lake if a blue-green algae bloom occurs.
7. Power Outages:
Power outages can occasionally occur in Muskoka, and while they are out of our control, the cottage is equipped with a Generac backup generator. This system is designed to automatically restore power, but in rare cases, it may take time to start or may not engage. For this reason, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted power during an outage.
