About this space
Welcome to Evanston’s historic Ridge district! This is a first floor unit in a 2 flat Victorian built in 1874. A lot of love and professional design has been put into this space - it features antiques, one-of-kind furnishings and custom fabrics and wallpaper.
This is the perfect central Evanston location and there is so much to do here.
We're a 7 min walk to Dempster St Station and 10 min to the Metra.

The space
You will have access to the entire first-floor unit with private entry; we (a couple) live in the upstairs unit. The space includes oversized windows and French doors, original hardwood floors and 12 foot ceilings. Meticulously and recently designed by renowned local interior designers, the unit is luxurious, featuring one-of-a-kind furnishings with custom wallpapers and fabrics.

The large unit includes 1 bed, 1 bath, formal dining room, sitting room (including desk/workspace), living room, and kitchen. There is a brand new queen size pullout sofa in the sitting room (in the room with french doors so there is some privacy if you choose to utilize the pullout).

You’re welcome to enjoy our wrap around front porch as well as backyard BBQ and patio set (seasonal). The unit includes access to the backyard.

Guest access
~This is a 2 flat single family home. You are renting the downstairs unit and have full access to it via private entry. We live upstairs so we may run into each other in passing but otherwise this is a very private, quiet space for you.
Heads up we have a sweet lab who lives with us upstairs as well.

Other things to note
~Please note we do not currently have a TV in the unit - there is 5G Internet however so you can stream on your laptop to your heart’s content.
~The kitchen is intended for short term stays. It features brand new full size oven, range, and oversized under counter refrigerator. There is a small freezer. There is not a dishwasher nor microwave. There are plates, glasses, utensils, and cookware for 4 ppl.
~Street parking available and easy to find within 2 blocks. We also have a private parking space if needed.
