Charming private coastal cottage in the historic settlement of Salter Path. Relax by the pool or enjoy the day at the beach only a short walk on the beach path through 100 year old live oak trees. Take advantage of our beach chairs, towels, and shibumi. Spend evenings on the rooftop deck enjoying a beverage while overlooking the Intracoastal waterway. Lounge on the hammock, take a dip in the hot tub. Rinse the sand off in the outdoor shower conveniently accessible from coming off the beach. Enjoy the cozy coastal decor with attention to details like natural fiber cotton and linen fabric in the bedding and a comfortable down stuffed couch with pillows and throws. Spend the evening in cooking in a fully stocked kitchen. Cottage is located close to many dining options and a local waterfront venue with live music.

Great place to stay. Very clean and all brand new. The pool and hot tub are excellent and the outdoor shower was a great thing to have coming off the beach. The path to go to the beach right from the pool is awesome! 10 out of 10. Will be back

Love the trail for beach access, if you love the beach this is the perfect condo, there's plenty of chairs you can borrow. Overall great hostess and close by everything as in the pine knoll aquarium, a mini golf and go karts across the street so why drive? You can walk to enjoy. If I was anyone please look up Sand Dollar Island ferry you will have a blast I know my wife and I did!! This condo is perfect for all your travels and beach activities. The condo was clean and the nice sunshine that shines in make the stay extraordinary.Thank you

Simply amazing. Kristi has created a jewel box here at the coast. The decor and vibes - immaculate. Steps from a private beach (no public access) through a charming well-worn path, the outdoor shower was incredibly refreshing. Kitchen well-stocked and the washer & dryer there was so convenient. The mattress was so comfy, obsessed with the lamps in the bedroom. We were so sad to leave but hope to return. Best vacation ever. Thank you again, Kristi & Mike!

We had the best time! The cottage was absolutely adorable and very clean. It was just a short walk through the woods to the beach. The pool was a very nice added bonus. Would definitely love to stay again! Thank so much for sharing your place :)

Bogue Banks and the surrounding areas offer a true coastal experience on island time. Take advantage of fishing charters, shelling adventures, the wild ponies on Shackleford, Cape Lookout National Wildlife, diving expeditions, wine tasting, delicious coastal dining, water sports, so many adventures you will never run out of things to enjoy!!

The historic settlement of Salter Path is charmingly beautiful and a unique coastal community. Salter Path has a rich history of developing from a fishing village with many of the founding families continuing to live here and carry on Salter Path’s legacy. We enjoy riding our bikes to the Crab Shack, Anchor Pizza, Captain’s Kitchen (best oyster burger), Big Oak, Early Birds and have 1 new restaurant coming soon; Bogue Oyster Club! We also enjoy a night out at Homer’s Point, a waterfront venue with live music. All within a mile of the cottage. When we feel like cooking Captain Willis’s offers fresh catch and Miss Vesta Willis is a wonderful story teller of the old fishing village.

The cottage offers the best of a relaxing getaway to the beach. It’s close to all the local restaurants, watersports, and mini golf. It offers beach days, pool days, fire pit and rooftop deck nights. It’s also a short drive to Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle’s restaurants. The Atlantic Beach causeway is lined with captains offering inshore and offshore fishing charters. You never have to leave the island to fill your time with adventure!
