The property was beautiful, everybody enjoyed themselves. We enjoyed going to the beach and being able to come back to the property and swim in that beautiful pool. I would definitely stay there again. The host was very sweet!

The house and pool area were amazing. Loved how they decorated it and the yard and plants are so beautiful. The location is great. Communication with the owner was great. Our kid’s dogs loved the upstairs patio with baby (dog) gate. At night the lights on the patio and pool area are perfect. The slide to the pool was fun too. We will definitely try to go back next year. I highly recommend this place!

Our host was spot on. Communication was excellent before we arrived, during check-in, and at check-out. We also needed to reach out during our stay, and every call or text was answered promptly. We could not have asked for better service.The house was clean and had all the amenities needed to feel like home. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were great, and the large kitchen and living room provided plenty of space for everyone. The yard was also well maintained.This place is the ultimate location for kids. The pool and slide were a huge hit, and our grandson (under 5 years old) was in the pool every day of our trip. The fenced yard gave us an added sense of security, and the pool was very well maintained.The second-floor deck is spacious and was a great place to read, relax in the sun, enjoy some shade, and watch the activity around the pool.We BBQ’d every day, and the outdoor area had everything we needed. The grill, prep area, and seating were all excellent and conveniently located right by the pool.The location is also ideal, with easy access to Jamaica Beach, East Beach, San Luis Pass, the Seawall, the Strand, and Moody Gardens.We will definitely be back. Very nice property. Very clean, comfortable beds, lots of space and decorated very nice. The pool and outdoor living was awesome. I would definitely rent this place again.

Beautiful home, peaceful stay

Our stay was perfect! We had several disabled people with us and the temperature and layout was perfect. The pool is beautiful, slide was usable for everyone. Lots pf things to admire in the yard, bottles, shells, mermaids and a family of bunnies.

Excellent stay

We stayed at the property for several days over the Fourth of July holiday. The house is great and the backyard is fantastic. The owner is communicative and helpful, and the house was in great shape when we arrived. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Extremely Clean and very relaxing!

Beautiful property and having a pool definitely worth it. The room downstairs for teenagers was perfect. The place was so clean and very cozy. The host was very communicative and friendly. She puts a lot of effort into making your stay enjoyable.

Absolutely loved it!

Couldn’t rate this property better! We love our stay at Pearl Basin and cannot wait to go back! We our repeat visitors and have loved every stay! Kids enjoy the pool, adults enjoy the outdoor entertaining and grill - so close to the beach with a great kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s perfect! Thank you Traci for allowing us to stay!!

Enjoyed a family beach vacation with our 3 adult children and their spouses 3 young grandchildren. Very nice second home & beautiful backyard. Good location, close to canal & beach. Our favorite!

We are repeat visitors to this beautiful home; every year we fall more and more in love with it! The home is gorgeous, stocked with essentials, cozy and inviting, and the outdoor area is amazing for the kids and adults to swim and hangout all day! Short drive to the beach too! Our annual Galveston family trip, our second time staying at this amazing property. Traci is friendly and easy to work with as well as very easy to talk to. We spent hours in the pool with our grandkids and was perfect to going into town for dinner, the Pier and Moody Gardens. Thank you for sharing your home.

WOW!!!!!!

Was absolutely the nicest home we have stayed at in a decade of going to Galveston with our family. Very clean, amazingly decorated. Close to the beach and the private pool with so much great seating and gathering places outside. Definitely already thinking of when we can go back. Traci was a pleasure to communicate with also.

Beautiful space felt right at home

We booked Pearl Basin somewhat last minute after our other rental was damaged from the storms and it was a blessing! We wanted a spacious home for our family beach trip we take to Galveston every year. This house was so beautiful from the decor details and to the amazing swimming pool. We really liked that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dogs as well. Traci went above and beyond to accommodate us. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

First time in at jamaica beach

This house was exactly as described by the listing as well as pictures. Quiet, cozy, and beautiful. There was 4 of us staying and this house had every amenity avaiable. The outdoor pool area was the star of the show as thats where we stayed anytime we were at the actual house. The owner was very easy to deal with and always available with answers. We truly had a great experience at pearl basin.

Great weekend getaway...

This property was perfect for our family weekend getaway. Even though the weather was ultimately impacted by a Hurricane that hit the southern TX coast, we still were able to have a great time at the property. It's clear that the owner put a lot of time and effort into giving it a very unique atmosphere - and it easily stood out from most properties around it. Any questions we had for the owner were answered quickly with zero issues at all. It's definitely a property that I'd recommend to friends/family.

Great Escape

This home is a feast for the eyes every way you turn - inside and out. Every comfort has been carefully thought out. The gardens are full of every kind of succulent imaginable. The ground floor bedroom and outdoor walk-in shower made getting around easy for my 83 father. This is a great escape for adults.

Beautiful Place!

The owner has done an amazing job of creating an oasis in her yard around the pool. We could hang out all day! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need to cook. Her home is beautifully decorated creating a feel right at home touch. There is plenty of room for the maximum amount of guests to feel comfortable. We were so blessed to have found her place three years ago and then return again this year. We look forward to another return trip!

Jamaica Beach - September 2020

A spacious, comfortable and well appointed property, close to the bay canal, and a short ride to the gulf beach. It has a nice clean and good sized swimming, in a beautifully planted yard, with plenty of shaded sitting areas. There was one small issue with blocked sink, which the owner had fixed in a timely manner. Otherwise it was great trip, which we enjoyed very much. Traci is great host.
