Cette belle 'Secret Garden Beach House' à Santa Cruz est parfait pour une escapade en famille ou entre amis. Situé dans un quartier paisible plage. A 5 min à pied de Capitola Village, 38e Ave Surf Sanctuary Beach et Piste cyclable, Eastside Eatery, Penny Ice Creamery, Verve Coffee Cafe, Betty Burgers, New Bohemia Brewery, Cliff Café, Cinelux Theater etc. Le jardin est très agréable pour se détendre ou barbecue dans. L'intérieur est élégant et confortable. Il y a 2 chambres (1 Masquer un lit dans le salon); 1) Chambre Queen avec portes françaises ouvrant sur un beau jardin. 2) Lit king avec Maître baignoire, TV écran plat, portes françaises sur Hot Tub (Maintenu par le spécialiste de l'eau bain à remous). La maison est propre et ensoleillé. La cuisine a Thermador Four, (tout Appl en acier inoxydable.), Cafetière, moulins à café, grille-pain, micro-ondes, Mixeur, Grande sélection de Casseroles et poêles, Compacteur de déchets ménagers, d'épices et de condiments empoissonnement. Au total, il y a deux téléviseurs à écran plat avec un son surround et un lecteur DVD, bain à remous, Internet sans fil, Barbecue. Peintures originales, 'Heather Glass' Sculpté verre dans toute la maison, linge de lit New High End, Pottery Barn sectionnelles (avec cache un lit) et président, Marbre Foyer Foyer.

Spacious place in a quiet yet central neighborhood. Clean and comfortable, although a little gloomy in some areas. The layout of different gardens and dog access didn’t work for us very well - the sunny yard adjacent to the kitchen and dining room was off limits for dogs, and thus, by default, us. The yard was also the main access route for Sarah to the rear unit so also not especially private. Maybe I should have read the description more closely but this was not explicitly mentioned and did come as a surprise.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the quiet central location and found the home clean and comfortable. I appreciate your comments regarding the garden layout and dog access as well. The property does include multiple outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy, including the front yard with grass, a teak table & chairs and direct access from the front bedroom and living room French doors. Many guests with dogs do enjoy the sunny side garden area as well, and typically just bring their dogs inside or to the front yard briefly if I need to pass through to access the rear unit. I always try to do so as discreetly and infrequently as possible to respect guests’ privacy. I appreciate the feedback and will look at making the layout and shared access arrangement even clearer in the listing description for future guests. Thank you again for staying here. Sara

Awesome stay

Everything is top notch. Sara and all the things she does to make your stay comfortable from luxury linens to treats ( both human and for dog) to beautiful gardens to her beautiful artwork and providing a relaxing atmosphere are more than expected. We have stayed here many times and plan to return soon.

Host seemed annoyed I contacted her ten minutes before arrival so that she could greet us with keys per instructions on VRBO ArrivalPortal. She stated these were “old” instructions (?). I would encourage people to print out arrival instructions because no access to internet before entering by keypad code which requires internet. Place was clean and decent, beds and couches not firm or new. It was fine but overpriced for what it provided. Owners exit and enter on path next to rental unit which does trigger dogs to bark.

Excellent place to stay! The host was great at Communicating with me. She had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel special and very welcomed. Her garden is amazing, just something out of a fairytale!! I highly recommend this place to stay - one of the best places.

We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving holiday. Great location, easy walking distance to stores, beach, Verve coffee. Sara was only a text away. Kitchen is set up with everything you could possibly need. love the vintage feel.

This is the second time we stayed at Sara’s house. Location is great. The bungalows two large bedrooms and two baths plus kitchen dining and living room you couldn’t ask for more. Everything is complementary beautifully to make you stay comfortable and enjoyable

Wonderful weekend getaway

My family enjoyed a nice weekend getaway. Sara was a wonderful host... responding to communication promptly, even during our stay. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and some tasty treats as well! She was very helpful and understanding when we had to change our dates due to the Santa Cruz fires. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious for my family of 4.

We loved this cottage by Pleasure Point Beach

This cottage was perfect for my husand and I, our teenage son and our dog, Blue. It was cozy and artistic. The king size bed in the main room was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in while traveling. The hot tub was large, secluded and fit the whole family in. We loved the little garden area in the front. It was a great location, walking distance to coffee, restaurants and the ocean. And, Sara, the owner, was very accomdodating to all our needs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic spot for small family and dogs!

My wife, 1yo son and I had a great Labor day weekend at Sara's house. The house was a perfect set up for us and a home base for the Santa Cruz area. It was a short walk to both Pleasure Point and Capitola where we were able to hang out at the beaches and have some great meals. We also felt right at home at the house which is in a quiet beachside neighborhood. The hot tub was new and hot when we arrived. There was an outside patio area for our dogs to hang out and a grill area. Inside was very clean and the fridge was fully stocked with wine and beer when we arrived! I highly recommend for a home base to explore the Santa Cruz area!

Our favorite getaway!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is our favorite. We have had the pleasure of visiting multiple times and enjoyed each one. The neighborhood is quiet, the gardens are beautiful, the decor is peppered with original art and comfy furnishings and Sara, the host, is wonderful. The King size bed is just right and the shower in the back bedroom is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and we have cooked everything from tacos to chili to pasta and fish. We all enjoyed the treats provided by Sara and our dog enjoys the fenced in front yard and walks in the neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants close by and some within walking distance. We are looking forward to our next stay in a month or so.

Santa Cruz has always been a magical place for me . As a child my family and I came here in the summers with my aunts, uncles and cousins. Memories of the Boardwalk, sandy beaches, and beautiful surroundings is something I've never tired of. I have lived in Santa Cruz for 42 yrs. and counting. I enjoy riding horses, gardening, painting. photography, and walks along the beach with my dog. I do portraits of animals in Pastels, Oils & Acylics.

I loved that Magnolia Garden Bungalow is close to many beaches and Capitola Village! The street is very quite, which is great for sleeping in. And if you like to walk to restaurants, there's a choice of just about every style and taste. Along with a nearby brewery and outdoor seating to bring your dog along .

The Gardens create a privacy and tranquility with Teak garden furniture and tables. My guests comment that the interior feels like a home away from home. I'm also happy to report many compliments on the mattresses being so comfortable!! I source linen & bedding from luxury brands. It's centrally located near the beach in a quite peaceful neighborhood. Capitola Village is 5 minutes away. The 38th Ave. Surf Sanctuary/Bike path is a great place for a walk along the cliffs on the ocean. Restaurants; EastSide Eatery, NuBo Brewery, Penny Ice Creamery,Verve Coffee Roasting, Cliff Cafe, Whole Foods, TraderJoe's, Theaters,Shopping etc., all a short stroll away.
