Ancienne mine Cottage est équipé de quelques commodités mal qui rendront votre séjour trÚs agréable! Un bain à remous de 5 personnes est toujours un succÚs auprÚs des clients plus jeunes et plus ùgés ressemblent, et pour une expérience tout à fait relaxant, la fosse de feu en plein air est un endroit idéal pour se détendre aprÚs une journée de visites, le golf, ou toutefois vous choisissez de passer votre temps dans Luray! La cuisine est trÚs bien conçu et est livré avec tous les appareils nécessaires, y compris un lave-vaisselle. Il ya une laveuse et sécheuse sur place aussi bien pour ceux qui souhaitent les utiliser. Toutes les quelques heures le train vient à travers, et la propriété est juste la bonne distance des pistes pour qu'il soit charmant. Il est une nouvelle marque TV dans le salon, avec un paquet de DirecTV, et d'un lecteur DVD. L'intérieur de la maison a une sensation trÚs rustique. Tout est complÚtement nouveau, mais a été soigneusement conçu pour se sentir trÚs à l'aise et unique. La propriété est située à un emplacement idéal à atteindre, avec seulement 10 minutes en voiture de prÚs tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin de le faire.

The cabin was so cozy! Everything was clean and in great condition. We loved the silence, and the birds were fabulous - an owl, bluebirds, and hawks. The hot tub was the perfect place to view the stars! Definitely would love to visit again!

What an amazing little house. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very close to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. My children really enjoyed seeing the stars. It was so dark that it was easy to see the Milky Way.

House was as described and very clean. Communication with Gerald and Klye was very easy and prompt and sitting in the hot tub and watching the sun go down behind the mountains was unforgettable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about it. The train and hottub were a beautiful bonus to an already cozy place. Autism friendly atmosphere! Very calming. The location is perfect if you are looking for the peace and serenity of Virginia country living. Highly recommend!

Peaceful

A beautiful secluded house that has a magnificent view of mountains in the distance from the porch. The jacuzzi was sooo relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Perfect location to all sights. I would recommend to family and friends!

Property is awesome, everything was clean and comfortable. Lots of cooking pots, pans, baking sheets. Bring your own kitchen knife, spices and cutting board. We would definitely stay there again. It was wonderful to wake up and have coffee listening to the bird chorus from the front porch.

Mini 4th Getaway

We stayed at Secluded Cottage 3 nights over July 4th along with our golden doodle. This cottage is adorable. Someone worked very hard and meticulously on this cottage. Very quiet and relaxing. Watched Luray's fireworks from the hot tub. Shout out to Bear Mountain Zip Line...fun!! Not far from Caverns and Skyline Drive. Definitely would stay again.

This place never disappoints! It’s always clean and ready when we arrive. It has land for us and the dogs to roam, yet minutes from grocery stores and quaint downtown shops/dining. We love the hot tub and fire pit. This was probably the 4th time we’ve stayed here; never had a complaint!

Secluded weekend getaway

It was a great stay, lovely property with gorgeous views of the surrounding fields, amazing sunset views from the front porch, and not a neighbor in sight. The hot tub and fire ring were welcome features to end our days with. Proximity to main roads, Luray Caverns, and Shenandoah was a huge plus. Rating 5 stars because everything was exactly as advertised and the property was very clean with updated fixtures. We could have done with a more comfy couch and maybe a smart tv, but understand rural internet can be challenging. Thanks for the great stay!

Old fashioned and cozy.

Its very private with lots of lawn to do whatever, The fire pit was nice, The hot tub is Awesome with the view of the mountain, The interior is very clean and welcoming, The furniture isn't very comfortable but i kinda like that, It fit the old style feel, Id definitely stay again. My Dog enjoyed sniffing all the new sniffies on the property.

Cute cottage experience

Very cute property and home. Our stay was comfortable and hosts were responsive. There are train tracks nearby, but we didn't get woken up in the night by passing trains. Bathroom was very clean and there were plenty of towels for bath/shower/hot tub.

Fall Trip

The location was great. Easy access to Shenandoah Park and to Luray. The cottage was very clean. Wonderful to sit on the front porch and watch sun set. The host was on top of anything that was need. Would definitely stay again.

Privacy

My partner and I truly enjoyed the accommodations offered however, we believe that the front door and side door leading to the patio need covering from curious on-lookers or for a feeling of more security. The same consideration should be extended to the window in the kitchen and bathroom. The clear visibility of the interior of the house from these areas should be an option of the occupants NOT an expected one of the owner. **Keith and I had to cover these areas in order to feel a level of privacy and security. Thank you.

Great home and location

We hiked and attended the fall festival in Luray The home was so inviting and we hot tubbed every night. Very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. I’d recommend this place for a small family too We never used the upstairs 😏

We have lived in Luray, VA our entire lives, and have always loved it here. 20 years ago after our home was paid for I bought our first monthly rental property on High Street in downtown Luray. It was a big investment, and lots of long nights after work were spent there to bring it into the condition I wanted, but it turned out great. A lot has changed since then, and 1 monthly rental property has turned into 32. Two years ago we decided to expand our horizons and move into more than just monthly rentals, which ultimately led to Old Mine Cottage. It took a two year process to get to today, but the result is a gorgeous property that is ready to be utilized. As we continue to grow in the business world we invite you to come and stay with us. Let us know how we did. We think you will be impressed.

This property offers a unique location in a quiet, rural area of our county. It is only two and one half miles from the main highway. Yet it is set on miles of paved country roads with very little traffic. Perfect location for biking enthusiasts.
