This place was perfect for our family of 4. Very comfortable and clean! The listing is totally accurate! Beach chairs and umbrellas and cooler provided were a big plus! Will stay again when we’re back!

This was a fabulous place to stay. Very easy access, rooms are bigger than the photos and it has all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. Lots of beach towels, beach bags, beach chairs, fully stocked kitchen. We walked to the beach every day. We never checked out the community pool so we have no feed back on that. We would definitely come back!!

Close to beach and Ledo Resort for those attending CME

This home is updated, filled with everything you need to make simple meals, and owner provides beach equipment. I could walk to my conference at a local resort (Ledo Beach Resort) in less than 5 minutes. The master bed was very comfortable and the AC kept up cool!

Short family vacation

Took a short trip to Florida for business/family vacation. Amazing rental with a quick walk to the beach. Exactly what we were looking for. The home had everything we were looking for and had the extras we needed or forgot about. Immaculate home in a great area. Able to walk to local shopping and easy getting around Sarasota. If we come back we'll definitely stay at this rental again!

The cottage was quaint comfortable and enjoyable! The lanai was perfect for our afternoon meals etc. Plenty of beach chairs and things to use for out entertainment. Would definitely visit there again!

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

This is a great little place for a getaway to the beach. Right within walking distance to both the beach and Armaund Circle. We had a blast. 2 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. Went kayaking at Coastal Kayak Adventures that is also within walking distance. enjoyed the sunsets! We'll be back.

Our March Florida Vacation

This place was perfect, very clean and fully stocked in case you didn’t bring something. We had a home away from home. My husband, dog and a few friends popped in. Great backyard for our dog, location to the beach and had everything you need in your rental. Looking forward to next year

Clean, close to beach, nice touches

This property is one block from the beautiful Lido Beach and the lovely sunsets. House is small, but also cozy, very well-maintained and comes with nice extra touches (soap and shampoo provided, bottle of wine, beach towels and beach coolers/gear available for use). Comfy beds--even the sofabed was reasonably comfortable. The large screened-in patio was pleasant. Only negative I can think of is the long driveway and tight spaces for turning the car about.

Welcoming, clean and wonderfully stocked!

Absolutely loved the huge screened in porch (a bit warm for July but would be even better if a little cooler weather)! Definitely one of the cleanest if not THE cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed in. Kitchen stocked with any dish, utensil or item you could ever need. A bonus that there was enough toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, plus other items for our stay. One note to mention - the communal pool is at the public beach and not part of this complex. Check in was easy and check out duties minimal and quick. Highly recommend this property!

Great Place to relax

We got to spend the week at this great house that is close to everything. We went Fishing, swimming, shopping relaxing by the ocean, walk on the beach, watch the sun set and so much more. We plan on returning and as soon as we can. My daughter left her necklace at the house and they even took the time to ship it back to us! The whole Florida vacation was great. Thanks so much!!

Lido Beach Bungalow

The location of the property was ideal, 1 1/2 blocks to beach, 6 blocks or so to St. Armand's Circle. All our provisions were provided for. In fact, when we asked the owner, Davidson, if there was a wagon to take our things to the beach, he said no, but I'll get you one. Which he did several hours later. We had a great experience.

Lido beach cottage

Cute & well maintained cottage within easy walk to the beach. I originally booked for 5 related adults, yet 2 ended up not making the trip, so the space was super for 3 adults & may have been a little too cozy for 5. Perfect for a family with kids though! We loved using the provided wagon to haul things to & from the beach and also appreciated the provided beach chairs & towels. Parking at the house a little tight, so if renting a car, get a smaller one, yet we really appreciated the off street parking. We loved that we walked everywhere unless we went over to Sarasota mainland. We would go back to this cottage if we ever are back in the area! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Lido Key Beach Cottage

Our family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful 5 day vacation in the beach cottage house. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. The covered back patio was wonderful after a long day at the beach to relax with lots of privacy. The property came with 6 Tommy Bahama beach chairs and two brand new umbrellas. Coolers were also provided. Even had a cart to bring everything to the beach, which was about 2-3 blocks away. Nice quiet neighborhood. Was hot during our visit so we opted to drive to St. Armands Circle for dinner versus the 15-20 minute walk each direction. Beach is about an 8 minute walk. We had a rental car but there was room for at least one more car. Very quiet and private. The washer and dryer were nice to have as we did several loads of laundry to help us get organized for our trip home. Would definitely rent the unit again.

Frustrating

Unfortunately, we learned of the red tide problem in the area after we booked. We couldn't go because we were concerned for the health of family members, as the air quality was bad. The owner promised us in writing to switch our stay to a different week he did not honor his word. After a week of trying to get calrification on a solution, he finally he changed his mind and wouldn't return the money or book a different week for us. It was a very frustrating experience!

We did our best to accommodate but guest kept changing her mind on dates and was very abusive and demanding. When she emailed on a Saturday and did not receive a call immediately she called VRBO and they said how abusive and rude she was. This is someone you can not satisfy and her facts keep changing. Our 15 years as a Super host tells the story.

Very nice house. We enjoyed St. Armands circle for shops and dinner. We were close to many beaches. All we really needed was a beach wagon. But overall a great spot😎

Great home on Lido Key. Very convenient to St. Armand's, downtown and Longboat Key. Beautiful neighborhood! We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around the wonderful homes, parks and beaches. Everything was spotless and the home was stoked with most anything you could need. Great place to stay. Thanks!

Perfect Everything

Davidson's place was perfectly suited for our stay in the Sarasota area. It was a family getaway for us (my daughter and her daughters) to visit my mom (their grandmother and great grandmother). The space was really clean and nicely furnished with more TV's than we could ever use! The cabinets were filled with all the dishware and cookware we needed along with lots of products for laundry, dishwasher, etc. The beds were all extremely comfortable and plenty of storage for our clothes. The screened patio was the highlight... breakfast and dinners were always out there because it was so spacious and had a backdrop of huge golden bamboo and other tropical plants that made it really enjoyable to hang out. Proximity to the beach and St. Armands Circle was great. We also did a kayak tour where the "put in" was literally a block away. Our granddaughters loved their first time in a kayak. So all in all, I don't think we could have done any better. Oh and I forgot to mention the array of puzzles and games along with sand/water toys and some bikes (that we didn't use). Loved our time and hope it will be available for our next time visiting Grandma!

We were intrigued by the fact that the property was built in the 1920's by John Ringling for his staff with seven stand alone homes in White Sands Of Lido. After looking around Florida, the Sarasota area has such beauty and so many cultural and outdoor activities that we were hooked. We are looking forward to retirement, but didn't want to be in a 'retirement' area. This is a fun, active, diverse and healthy place to enjoy and laid back at the same time with so much to do.
