Le Cottage by the Sea est une fantastique maison en bord de mer qui est sur une falaise avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la falaise.
Ceci est un chalet chaleureux, confortable et accueillant qui a une cheminée récemment rénovée dans le salon.
Ce refuge confortable est le favori d'un petit groupe.
Il n'y a pas d'accès direct à la plage, mais les plages de l'État sont facilement accessibles à la fois au sud et au nord d'un mile.

Cozy venue with an ocean view

Very convenient to Yachats. Clear communication with rental folks. Granted extension on departure allowing us full time tide pooling during the minus tide. Thank you!Love the incredible Oregon coast!Happened to be perfect weather.Likely to stay there again.

Delightful

The property was clean and well cared for. Location was spectacular, right next to the beach and tide pools. Wildlife in abundance. The Brown Pelicans were fishing in ernest all four days.

We enjoyed this little cottage

We loved the location, the view and the yard. We found a stairway to the beach and truly loved our walks there. The grocery in Yachats was just perfect. We visited many places both North and South of the cottage. Our only real problem was the cottage wasn't clean, there were mice and We had to clean the windows to be able to see the ocean. I'm sure the problem was with the cleaning service not the owner.

fabulous place to watch waves and birds. Peaceful time . Well stocked kitchen and clean home. Mattress needs improvement and the shower needs better lighting and tiles repairs or replaced. Spent over a week here and truly enjoyed our time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place,nice view, access to the beach was a few miles away to the south, (we went south could have gone north). It would've been nice if there was a way to shut the security door without having to lock it instead of having to use the rock which was provided. We happened to be there during a very windy and rainy time. The rock wasn't enough to hold the door shut.The picture windows were covered with salt spray,however there was a hose hooked up and easy to use to get rid the salt that was on the windows.I think next time we'll try and plan for better weather. We will stay there again. Good place to eat in Yachats.

It is old, but a bargain for the price. Be aware there is no live tv, only streaming.

I came for 4th of July weekend with my anxious dog to avoid the fireworks, and it was a perfect, quiet escape. You can hear the traffic from 101 pretty clearly, but it didn’t bother me. Like others have said, there are problems in the house—lumpy mattress, dirty windows, stains in the overhead kitchen lighting—but still a pleasant stay overall. The strangest thing to me was an updated shower, but the showerhead is only appropriate for someone 5’ tall and zero lighting. You shower bent over in the dark. And the bedroom carpet definitely has a funk. We loved the view, seeing pelicans fishing and a few spouts from a passing whale! The house met our needs pretty well, but I likely wouldn’t stay here again.

Nearby beaches are great for throwing the stick for a dog, and the scenic State Park trails were a quick drive up the coast. Highly recommend this great deal! One thing to keep in mind is when arriving, be sure to search 95010 U.S. 101, FLORENCE, OR. Our GPS did not pick up the address unless we specified the city of Florence.

Bluff Oasis

This booking was basically as described and reviewed. It was close to the main road, but the views from the bluff were spectacular! I was excited for the fireplace, especially early morning burns with coffee, watching the sunrise....unfortunately the damper was not functioning at all...so we didnt get to enjoy it like we had wished. It is an older house with much needed repairs and a refresh. It has amazing potential! Also, the shower you step down into it and even then, the shower head is MAYBE 5'. I am 5'6" and had to squat down to wash above my shoulders. My partner is 6'4", so he basically was on his knees to shower. Besides those things, it is a cute, little older rental house. It was peaceful and a little getaway from our everyday life in Walton. It also is super close to beaches and make sure to get out to see the tidepools! For the price, though, we would stay there again! We did not try out the sauna....maybe next time!

Great view, Awful House!!

As everyone mentions, the view is exceptional. However, the house is horrible!! The location is not good, directly on the highway and dangerous pulling out to leave anywhere. Everything is old/dirty (floors, curtains, furniture, etc). The lights in kitchen are disgustingly old/dirty (old-fried bugs when you look up). Not to mention the crazy, step-down (2+ ft) very old/dark shower. The furniture is a whole other story—dirty and so uncomfortable that we couldn’t get through 1 movie without getting up and moving around to stretch. Was like sitting on cardboard! The place was filled with fluffy dog hair on floor. Also, no way to get air flow (ie open windows) and place is stuffy in pm. Not worth the stay, even for the views, in our opinion.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was good. The panoramic views of the ocean from the house were the best. A little close to 101. You can hear the traffic and getting safely in and out of the driveway to 101 was a little hazardness. It was nice to have a large working fireplace. It could been cleaner (there was pet haiir around). The baseboard heaters didn't all work, and the place needs updating of furniture and fixtures. The sauna is ancient. I tried it and felt it was more a hazard to use.

Reviewer Comments: As expensive as this was with all the fees included we were disappointed. The cottage is in bad need of maintenance and updating. From the sagging ceiling tiles to the whole place needing a deep cleaning to the motley assortment of pots, pans, and dishes and silverware that looked like it all came from good will. The bedding was clean and the ocean views are incredible.

Nice location with a beautiful view.

Everything was wonderful, especially the view. No cell service but wifi worked decently. Only problems were we could not find the outdoor garbage receptacle and the locks on both the front and back doors were almost impossible to lock or unlock, we were afraid we were going to break the keys. Note that there are no stores, gas stations or other services near by except a couple limited places in Yachts and most of the restaurants were already closed for the season.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleased to find the cottage very clean and well taken care of. The best feature was the windows and the views they offered - gorgeous. It was small but adequate for two or three and a dog! Recommendations: Clear out all the extra stuff in kitchen cupboards and add more silverware and serving bowls. Do something about the shower - it was not suitable for older folk with the steps down.The yard was not fenced, and the rope would not be safe enough for smaller children. We did keep our dog on a leash the whole time - it is quite a drop off. We would stay again even without the cell service the peace and quiet were very much needed. We missed the cottage and had to drive back to it. Better signage?
