Great amenities

Great for a family or a couples retreat. We really enjoyed the resort as well as having the ability to save a little with cooking in the condo.

Perfect weekend getaway

Great views & accommodations! If the ocean is not preferable for a swim, there are two perfect pool options instead. It was our first time at Singer Island and we’ll be back!

Really well appointed spot! I was a little worried that the unit we were assigned would be on a lower floor or have a different view - but it was exactly as shown in the listing. Check in was easy. Pain to be charged for wifi, but the agency makes it clear how to be reimbursed for that, which is a nice bonus. This is a quiet strip of beach...exacty what we were looking for.

Stay at Marriott Singer Island

Nice stay. Hurricane IAN decided to change our plans a bit, but that is not fault of the hotel. The only recommendation I have is better communication between the property manager and the front desk at the Marriott. We stayed in a private owners unit at the Marriott. Upon check in, no one at the front desk had any idea of our reservation or confirmation. It was fixed, but this seems like a very preventable issue.

Sprint Break with my boys

We had a decent stay. But I was underwhelmed with the room. There was dust in many places, food dried up in the microwave, and locks on bathroom doors were broken. My kids were cold and the one blanket and pillow for the pull out was not sufficient, I emailed the rental company and asked for one pillow, extra blanket and towels and they came over 24 hours later and gave me one pillow without a pillow case-that’s it. I also didn’t see a bathrobe in the closet. For the price, I would of expected bathrobes and cleaner rooms with better service.

Upon review, I see that we have a request for an additional pillow. However, I do not see any further communication regarding your concerns. We do wish we had the opportunity to rectify your concerns during your stay, as we have a full-time housekeeping and maintenance staff who are always happy to address any concerns in a very timely manner! We always look to exceed guest expectations and hope to serve you again whenever your travels bring you back to Singer Island.

Lovely property but with hotel expenses

This was a lovely vacation unit. When we first arrived we had some iissues with the room. The water pressure, shower, toilet, the lights the phones, the Keurig. Some of these issues were just us trying to figure stuff out. When I reached out to the property managers they were very responsive and sent someone right away. our biggest issue was that although this property is privately owned it is within a hotel so you end up incurring a lot of the expenses that you do when staying at a hotel. paying for valet each day and tipping everyone day in and day out really adds up. The unit provides you with beach chairs and an umbrella, but they were in very rough shape so we ended up renting the beach chairs at the beach from the resort which was an additional $45 a day (35 for 2 chairs but we needed 3). If you rent chairs at the beach or use the pools you cannot bring outside food or beverages so again you’re looking at significant cost for food and drink throughout the day. The location was just ok. Riviera Beach was pretty rough, it wasn’t a nice area.. Singer Island is beautiful, and the beach was spectacular. we spent so much time at the beach walking up and down and enjoying the beautiful natural shoreline. it was the highlight of our time in Florida. overall it was a wonderful vacation and we would probably return to Singer island again.

Due to the limited footspace at this oceanfront property, valet parking is the only opportunity and the standard for oceanfront properties here in South Florida. We do wish we could do more! We have noted additional fees and paid services on our booking listing page on Vrbo as well as your rental agreement. We are very sorry to hear about the beach chairs! Upon review, we do not see any contact from you during your stay. We do wish we were made aware of this situation, as we are always happy to rectify any concerns our guests may have in a timely manner.
