Hi Marc and thank you for your review. With the utmost respect I feel that the 2 star rating should be based on you planning your stay appropriately. We list under our property description that the cabin size is 640 sq feet so to say it is small isn't fair when that info was available to you. Also we have pictures showing how many beds are in the loft and how you access it. If you are an elderly person who has trouble navigating things then you should be extra diligent in finding a property that can accommodate your special needs. Lastly the wonderful part of our business is that we are next door so we can address guest issues immediately as we did with the pullout. As a business owner, we don't always know what previous guests have used or done to the cabin i.e. dirty dishes put away. We have been in business for 23 years and believe we have been so successful is because of our attention to detail to avoid the problems to encountered because you didn't read about the property details of the accommodations you chose.

Thank you for your kind comments Melissa and the information for future guests about the cabin layout. It is always helpful to get comments from previous guests. If you make it to Girdwood again please come to Alyeska Hidaweay for another stay - we are building a two bedroom cabin on the side of our home that will be able accommodate another group of 6 people (max.). The new cabin will probably be a better fit for 6 adults where our current cabin is a better fit for a family with smaller kids.
