Fantastic family getaway!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week long vacation at the yacht club. The 3 bedroom condo had plenty of room for us and was clean. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed the amenities. Our favorite thing was that we were such a short walking distance to everything, especially the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful views from our balcony and would definitely recommend this place. We loved it and can't wait to book again!

Spacious, and beautiful views.

Wonderful week when we stayed here. We fished off one of the docks and caught some really big fish. Just about a couple minute walk from the beach and the stores. Very spacious for the 7 people that stayed. Any issue we had Steven and Eddie were right on it and had it fixed right away. Definitely recommend this place.

Not worth the money

The condo was very outdated. There were places on the walls that looked like they had water damage and not repaired properly. The flooring in the kitchen was seperated from the carpet in living room. The water pressure was horrible. The clothes dryer burnt holes in our clothes!! I didn't realize it until I had already washed 2 loads of laundry! I contacted the owner and he scheduled someone to come that day (Friday) but we weren't going to be there at the scheduled time so I told him I would just go to the laundry mat! The view was nice. Location was good. There was construction in front of the building so I had to go really slow not to tear of the bottom of my car. Also, we were stopped by security for not having pool bracelets on because they were not left in the condo for us. I had to go to the office and get them and she almost didn't give me any. She said it's the responsibility of the owner to take care of that. Needless to say, I would not recommend staying there because the amount of money it costs is not worth the stay. We could have stayed directly on the beach for not much more.

Brandi, We were surprised to receive your review considering we just recently received an EXCELLENT 5-STAR review within the same week/month of your stay from other guest(s). Your review was also disappointing because we were very responsive to address the two concerns you brought to our attention (the dryer was acting up and the construction of city road work). As we discussed & aware we have no control over government city department public works outside the complex. Please note: the city work was not conducted within the grounds of our club community. With respect to the dryer; we offered to have the dryer serviced/inspected the same day, but you would not make any availability for our service men. You were informed that nobody needed to be in the unit during the service, but you again refused. So to accommodate your needs and your request, we respectively abided but your wishes to have it serviced after your departure. There was no need to go to the laundry facility during your stay - it would have been serviced if you allowed it. Unfortunately, you were not cooperating with us. The bracelets were just implemented by the homeowners association the week you arrived; this was not stated as a concern in our communication. As far as the wall repairs, It is my understanding there was a bad rain storm during your stay, in which may have caused some slight water stains. But again, you did not bring this to our attention, or indicate this as a concern during your stay. Upon your departure the housekeeper made us aware of the slight water stains because it was not there prior to your arrival. We have addressed the issue to the association to inspect the matter. We are currently in the process of resolving it. Unfortunately, this is another example of what was not addressed to us and if it was, we could've expedited & resolved it sooner. We are not sure what more we could've done for you considering these other items were not brought to our attention. It is evident that any effort we made to resolve the dryer situation you refused and were not cooperative. It is always our goal as a family owned & operated (father & son) vacation rental to assure our guests enjoy their stay & provide everyone with a great vacation rental experience like many of our other guests that have rated us with great and excellent reviews.

Great Location & Surroundings!

We spent 8 days at the condo and had a great time! Nice and spacious condo unit. The beach, stores, restaurants are walking distance around a block. The beach is nice and not crowded. Pretty close to Orlando, Sarasota, Siesta Beach, Anna Maria island and other attractions!

Wonderful Holiday

My husband and Inspent the month of March at The Madeira Beach Yacht Club in this 3 bedroom unit. The facilities were very comfortable and the owner was quick to fix any issues we encountered. This facility is so close to the beach, restaurants and much more. The pool area was great for relaxing and reading and all the residence were very happy to see children. The unit had everything that you needed. Very comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen and spacious areas. The view from the balcony was fantastic. It was very quiet at night for sleeping. Great place to get away.

Madeira Beach Yacht club

My family and I were very please with our stay at the yacht club. The condo was very clean , and had all the supplies that was needed to cook in the kitchen. Most important the view is amazing and very relaxing, also the owners responded on a timely fashion everytime I called, the condo is very spacious. I would Definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Property was great ..Condo was misrepresented on website- It was FILTHY

Upon arrival we encountered the following issues within 1st 10 - 15 minutes: Bar that opens screen door fell off. The entire Carpet was not FIT to walk on - it was FILTHY. Water damage to living room ceiling, old moldy air fresheners out in view, Doritos bag and ice pop wrapper under tv. Refrigerator was disgusting and had to be sanitized and cleaned. Drawer under stove where fry pans stored had food debris . Cabinet where pot/pans/bowls stored were just thrown in. We didn't touch that cabinet. Ceiling fans were covered in dust ( we had to clean them), Bathroom #2 had approx. 2 inches of water on floor. Sheets in all 3 bedrooms smelled and had to be washed. Pillows were stained ! The toilet paper holder in Bathroom 1 fell off the wall when we changed the empty roll left for us. We called the owner on Thursday 9-21-17 around noon and let him know all of the above, he advised us to put towels down (which we had to wash) around the toilet and turn water valve off. We told him we took pictures of the conditions and he didn't seem to care.. 4 Days later , the toilet still had not been repaired , we called the owner again and he said he would contact the Yacht Club MGMT to repair. They finally came and repaired toilet. Of course we had to bail water if we used the toilet and with 5 People we used the toilet. On Tuesday 9-26-17 bathroom #2 bath tub wouldn't drain and we had approx 3 inches of water which we tried to plunge but were unsuccessful. We all used bathroom # 1 because we were leaving on Thursday morning. We feel that we were mislead which caused a very STRESSFUL vacation . We paid good money and were totally disappointed not only in the Condo owner but also your site and the Yacht Club because we feel that all of your misrepresented this unit to us. We don't know who wrote the prior reviews on this unit but someone should be accountable. We feel we are owed ALL of our MONEY back. To think there was a cleaning fee in our cost is a joke. Other owners in the Yacht Club came into this unit and were appalled at the conditions. They begged us to please consider their unit for future rentals and that this unit was not a representation of the Yacht Club. Joyce, We respectively disagree with the comments you provided and certainly do not treat any guest and the conditions of our property in the manner you've described. We are also very confused because you did not address those issues during your entire stay, and only contacted us about the toilet issue upon your arrival. There are two full bathrooms and again we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of temporarily using one toilet until we sent someone to repair the 2nd toilet. We also communicated by phone to arrange the time they would arrive and when we last spoke - you were pleased in our quick response & it was repaired. I also spoke with the handyman upon completion of the repair and it was confirmed you were satisfied. Quite honestly - If there were other issues and if you communicated that to us, we would've had the handyman address them during his visit - while he was there. Unfortunately, you did not address any of the other issues to us & the handyman during his visit and during your stay - and IF you did; we would've also accommodate and immediately send back the cleaning crew ASAP. It is very unfair & disappointing you would address these things long after your departure but not during your stay, when we were very responsive in sending someone to repair the toilet and would've done the same on the other issues, if that were the case & informed us. The most recent guest that stayed prior to your arrival and another upon your departure during their stay, both provided an excellent 5-star review. We certainly do not treat any guest and the conditions of our property in the manner you've described. Our other reviews compliment how well-kept & clean the unit is, including our quick response to all our guests. It is always our goal as a family owned & operated (father & son) vacation rental, to assure our guests enjoy their stay & provide everyone with a great vacation rental experience! We have always had great reviews from all of our guests and your review was surprisingly disappointing & shocking to read considering that none of the items you describe were ever addressed to us, the handyman & MBYC management during your stay.

Beautiful views, well kept property, great location!

We spent a week at this property and loved it! Is was roomy for our party of six, well stocked with towels, dishes, beach accessories, and a starter set of paper products and soap. The beach was within easy walking distance, there were 2 nice pools , the area was peaceful , all the stores were close. We spent many an early morning and evening on the porch overlooking the water. Even in the summer, there was a nice breeze most evenings. Hope to stay here again !

Spacious & Outstanding!

The condo is perfect for our family, two parents and three children. It was clean and owner was very responsive to any questions... We loved that our children had their own bedroom and bathroom - and we (parents) had our own. That was great! The pool was outside the condo and main pool with gym, club-house and billiard was also nearby. We loved that we can walk to the beach during day, but on waterway for evening. It was beautiful to watch the boats and activity on the intercostal. The best is that everything is nearby (food, shops, etc). We definitely would go back and recommend this condo to families!

Pelican Fishing!

This condo is very spacious and the location is great. It was wonderful to watch the pelicans fish outside your door on the waterway! The unit could use a little updating but perfectly comfortable. The washer/dryer was a bit finicky and we experienced a problem with ants. But the owner was very responsive when I emailed him and tried to address my concern. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great large unit with walking distance to everything

The location is ideal. Short walk to the beach where you can get drinks and ice cream. Across the street from tennis courts, which we didn't have an issue getting a court. Walking distance to many restaurants. Grocery store just up the street. Nail salon and mini golf were in walking distance too. Unit was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed in it, including some beach chairs. Workout room and pool tables were an added bonus. Gated community and the management let us keep our packed car in it for the day after check out.

Great Waterfront for the Price

The place was perfect and very clean! Loved this location..very convenient to shopping, restaurants and of course the BEACH right across the street! We relaxed on the balcony over looking the water having morning cup of coffee and fished off the docks every night. We enjoyed the amenities (pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, etc). There was also recreational park too with entertainment & events. Great Waterfront for the Price. We definitely will make this our regular yearly stay!

Fabulous & Very Relaxing!

Our ONLY beach in Florida. Love this place - very clean beautiful condo! Owners are very polite, and always available. Great restaurants, shops, stores within walking distance and John's Pass nearby. The beach is great - white sands. We loved watching the amazing sunset. VERY quiet relaxing! Wonderful experience and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend to everyone!

Great trip!

We spent a very relaxing spring break at this condo--we even saw dolphins at the beach! The beach is just 5 minutes away by walking and there's an awesome park right across from the condos that has tennis and baseball fields. It was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen perfectly suited our cooking needs. The only slight downside was that we had to buy our own toilet paper, garbage bags, and laundry detergent because extras weren't left. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing trip!

Great vacation

Perfect stay with everything we needed. Condo was immaculate. My family loved the location. 2 pools and a short walk to beach with a great little tiki bar. All for an affordable price! We will be coming back for sure
