The property is a beautiful and spacious mid-century modern house. The location is great. Very peaceful at night w/starry skies from the pool or hot tub deck areas. Well equipped kitchen. A few glitches but overall very comfortable. Be mindful of the rural nature of the road/drive (washboard, drop offs).

This is an absolutely amazing property. We live only 30 minutes away but decided to book for our honeymoon. Upon arriving I couldn't believe the view. It's very private with the only neighbors I saw the entire time were 2 gorgeous horses that live close enough to watch as you have coffee on the deck. The pool was another story but I understood the pool cleaner was due the next day. Messaged the owners with my concerns and they were very fast to respond and the next day the pool and jacuzzi were up and running. The house was so quiet and serene. They provide an amazing Bluetooth speaker and the beds are so comfortable. The only negative I would say is that the bathtubs didn't have drain plugs that actually plugged the drain. What they don't mention is the jacuzzi tub in the master bath so you'll see why the plugs are important lol. We'll definitely be booking again next year for a family trip. 10 out of 10

This was an extremely upsetting stay. I specifically chose this property because I wanted to use the pool and jacuzzi. After booking, I contacted the host to confirm that both amenities would be available during my stay, and they explicitly confirmed that they would.Unfortunately, when I checked in, I found an aesthetically beautiful home with a broken jacuzzi and a pool filled with algae. When I brought these issues to the host’s attention, they were unresponsive for hours. The issues were never resolved during my stay, and the host failed to provide any form of compensation or meaningful resolution.I am extremely disappointed because these amenities were a major reason I chose and paid for this property.DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. The listing is misleading and, in my experience, the advertised amenities were not actually available. This was a complete waste of money and made for a very disappointing stay.

Truly enjoyed our stay! We loved the architecture of the home and the private location. Access to Joshua Tree was quick and easy. This home is a very special place and we would highly recommend it.

So I have always loved this house. The new owners make it even better. Stayed 2 nights and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Joshua tree.

Fabulous home!

Everyone should experience living a few days in this architectural masterpiece! Superb, peaceful location, with well appointed kitchen and living spaces. Hot tub under the stars and jackrabbits roaming the property.

A serene and peaceful retreat

I chose this beautiful place as a surprise birthday trip for my husband so we could enjoy some respite from the cold, grey PNW weather. It was everything I had hoped for...simply and beautifully appointed, everything we needed in the kitchen, sparkling pool and hot tub, quiet but close enough to run into town as needed. Would highly recommend!

Silent seclusion in Yucca Valley

From the moment we arrived, JRW was a joy to spend time in. The home is a destination within itself and just sitting in silence reading or enjoying the desert vistas was perfect. And when the sun feels like too much the pool is lovely and refreshing for a quick dip.

Oasis in the desert

This is an amazing property! The house is an incredible piece of artwork and you can’t beat the views. We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Joshua Tree National Park is an easy drive from the house. Juliet is very responsive. Top notch place to stay.

Beautiful

Place was wonderful and booked for 3 nights. Unfortunately middle of the first night got some bad news and had to fly out the next day. So only stayed the one night. However the place is wonderful, super responsive host.

Peaceful retreat

We loved this house! First stop of our trip, our base to visit Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. The house was well equipped and comfortable. It had caught our eye because of its design. Make sure to be up to watch the sunrise! Sunset is beautiful too, to the sound of the coyotes! Highly recommended.

Relaxing/remote house

Had a nice relaxing stay. If the weather is warm which it was for us then the pool is great. It is not heated so I don’t recommend going unless the pool has had a couple of weeks to be in the sun. A couple notes:-The dirt road to get to the house is sketchy. I would recommend having a 4x4. - The patio could use a fresh coat of paint. It is starting to peal.

Sophisticated home set in rugged desert landscape

This home is for travelers that appreciate modern architecture set in natural untouched desert landscape. The sunrises give a warm glow coming over the horizon with desert cottontails and jackrabbits hiding in the nearby bushes. The jacuzzi sits at the edge of the deck so you can enjoy nature while having a morning coffee or an evening cocktail. It is a place to have peace and quiet and enjoy the views. The interior is clean, gorgeous, and well stocked.
