Bathroom is awful !!

The condo is NOT at all what you see in the photos . The owner offered to refund me however it was to short notice to find another condo . The bathroom shower faucets were horrible not able to get the water at a warm temperature , it took forever. I suggested he renovate the bathroom . It’s too bad however I will never return to this condo .

I'm sorry about your experience. The bathroom is not new but it works perfectly, it's not fancy but we don't show it in the photos either. Your review seems extremely unfair to me because the photos are real and we responded to all your requests.

Perfect for a family of 4

We stayed here for 17 days during our Christmas vacation. The property was exactly as described. Pablo, our main contact was amazing and 100% responsive to our needs. Not that we had many. My only warning to future guests is to know in advance that this building has a lot of rules. Check in is mildly annoying. Suitcases are not allowed through the main lobby and only through the service entrance and service elevator. To access the service entrance from the outside is difficult with suitcases. This of course has nothing to do with the actual condo which was very clean and perfect for a family of 4. Just important to know in advance so you’re not surprised by it. Overall, we had a perfect stay.

Compared to many other VRBO rentals we've stayed in, this one was 'okay'.

The location of the building (beachfront and stores) was nice. Dated, but the building property, for the most part, was clean. The check-in process is crazy, I've not experienced anything like it and we travel a lot. The apartment itself left a bit to be desired. If more than two people stayed it would be very tight and there definitely wouldn't be enough seating in the living area. The kitchen and bathroom were disappointing and not necessarily clean. Someone needs to check inside the kitchen cupboards for proof of that. The appliances were barely hanging in there. The bathroom needs major updating as there is a hole in the shower ceiling caused by pipes leaking in the walls and then running out the ceiling into the shower. It felt unsanitary. The windows in the bedroom were both broken and one is stuck slightly open so hot air just blew in all day. Hard to keep cool. For what it cost (including entry fobs, parking fees, etc.) it wasn't what was expected. You're paying for location.

Hi Christopher, I'm sorry it wasn't what you expected. I remind you that any damage found in the apartment can be reported to the host and it will be repaired on the day. I'll make a note of any repairs needed. The apartment itself I wouldn't call it tight as it is 874 square feet and the living room is 336 square feet. I will consider getting more seating for the living room, so far no one has told me it needs more seating but it's a good idea. Thank you for your comments that help us improve.

Great Property

Stayed for a few days with my 9 year old son. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beach. Communicating with Pablo was easy and he was very responsive.

Spring break 2022

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Tides. Pablo, the property manager was the best. He was so helpful with the check in process and any questions we had. The parking cost was reasonable and the key fob cost was stated in the rental agreement. Our host had everything that we needed to make our stay pleasant. The beach chairs and boogie board(grandson appreciated that) were nice to have. We would definitely stay again at this property

Could use updating

Apartment was located in a great place, easy access to beach, nice pool. Staff were very helpful when we arrived after hours. Apartment needed multiple repairs and needed updating. Very institutional vs other VBRO We have stayed were there were condiments left from other guests or supplies. This has nothing extra literally. Our biggest complaint would be the toilet paper which might be silly but it was the worst we have ever seen. Bring your own or run out quickly.

Hi Amy, I knew from your comments during your stay that you were very happy with the apartment and condo. We always throw away all the food left by previous guests because it seems cleaner and safer, especially since the pandemic. I'm sorry about the toilet paper, I think it could have been solved with the host during your stay. He is always available. I'm sorry that was the worst part of your stay and that's why I only got 3 stars. Kind regards.

Great spot for a casual getaway

We were on a working vacation and this condo was a great spot for that. It's clean, spacious, and well-located right on the beach. The pool and grounds are quite nice. Everything we needed was there (beach towels, chairs, umbrella) and the kitchen had the basic appliances, dishes and kitchenware, coffee, a few cooking essentials, and spices, . It is within easy walking distance of several grocery stores, and some decent restaurants for the nights you don't want to cook. The reviews saying it is 'tired' looking are accurate; it's an older building but the unit has had some renovations and furnishings are very modern. The property manager, Pablo is amazingly responsive and overall his customer service was stellar. It's nothing fancy but great for a casual getaway or work-cation.

great stay!

overall, we had a great stay! pablo the condo coordinator was very very helpful with check in & check out. The complex was a tad outdated however, our condo was very modern, cute & nice! The pool area and beach was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Great get away!

We had a great time, condo unit was spotlessly, Pablo made the check in process so easy. He was also readily available with answers to any questions we had. Located right on the beach. Groceries right near by. Grounds are spotless! Definitely would stay again. Totally a family friendly place. Loved this unit, it’s exactly as it looks in the pictures. I was concerned by some of the comments previous renters made but I found no validity in those comments. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very nice condo on 3rd floor, right next to the beach, and in walking distance to many places to eat

The owner was super nice and kept in contact with us up until we arrived at the property, he assisted us in checking in and walked us up to the room and showed us everything we needed to know while staying on property. Which was super helpful. The condo was nice and had room room than I thought it did. You have a pool view with the ocean right past that. You can hear the waves when sitting on balcony. It was very quiet and relaxing during our stay. Would definitely come back
