Location location

Terrific broad walk location with a clean well maintained property. Located on the quiet north end of the broad walk with friendly people throughout the complex. We have stayed here before and will return again.

Property does need a little updating. But other than that everything was perfect!! The unit has everything you need from pots and pans to extra blankets and pillows to water boards, umbrellas and chairs!! Thank you so much we will be back!

Perfect for us.

The location was ideal. Close to the airport, supermarket, restaurants, etc., and literally ON THE BEACH BROADWALK! We only used a few gallons of gas in our rental car for four days.Nancy was quick to respond to any questions we had. Whenever we're looking for a few relaxing days at the beach, Ocean Grande Beach Club is where we'll plan to be!

Wonderful stay

Was exactly what we needed , a ground level 1 bdrm with kitchen, and close proximity to the beach (25 steps to the beach). Would definitely rent this unit again.

Relaxing on the beach

This one bedroom condo is perfect for a long weekend getaway with your significant. It was right on the beach and host has enough for you for a beach day at the property. There is a little convenience store a few steps away to get water, adult beverages and a couple snacks. Very chill area. Plenty of restaurants Le Tub burger is a must try. Place is simple and clean. Very satisfied and would stay again.

Great Place

We could not have been happier with this condo. It is located towards the North end of the broadwalk, which is quieter. The property is well maintained and the place was perfect for our needs. We look forward to staying there again.

Perfect 4 night stay

Loved this place! Right on the beach, walking distance for restaurants and shops. Traveled alone, felt safe and comfortable all of stay. Grabbed a few groceries from Walmart and was set. Would return for sure!

Beach Holiday

It was a great beach holiday. The residents at the Ocean Grande were friendly and welcoming. We had all great dining experiences on the Hollywood Broadwalk. The weather was amazing! Our apartment was clean and comfortable which is what we needed, the beach was our goal!!!!!

Good location

Nice place to stay. Great place for 2 people unless you bring an air mattress. Sofa bed and couch weren’t comfortable to sleep on. Condo right on the beach and was not nearly as crowded as other parts of the beach. I would recommend to others for a nice quiet beach trip.

Relaxing getaway on the beach

We were right on the Broadwalk. It was great! We were within walking distance of many eateries and just a short drive away from Publix and the casino. Will definitely consider returning.

Location, location ,location!!

This rental was perfect for my husband and I. If you want a party atmosphere this is NOT for you. If you want to relax, be a few steps from beach in a peaceful setting look no further!! The owners unit has everything you need. It was great to have beach chairs and towels provided.

Overall a good time

As many have mentioned, this property is old and out of date and starting to fall apart. The amenities were fine, had all of our basic needs. The main attraction to this building is the location. Literally right on the beach. However, we met a lot of nice people in that building and we were able to see eir units as well and they were all beautifully updated. We loved the property as a whole, just won't be renting from that particular unit again.

Older but great location

It was wonderful being right across the broadwalk from the beach, and we appreciated being on the quieter, less crowded end. Enjoyed sitting in the patio area when not at the beach to watch all the activity. Neighbors in the unit were very friendly. Beach equipment and towels provided. Shower was hot and laundry room right by this unit. Restaurants in walking distance. Now the caveats: tiny one person kitchen, one of the blinds wouldn't open to see the beach, bathroom sink is inadequate, furniture is older, A/C worked but was loud. There was a pool listed but it has been removed. If you don't need a fancy, modern condo or an overcrowded resort though, would recommend for location and old Florida style.

We have stayed at this building in a different unit before, and the location is outstanding, convenient, and on the more quiet end of Hollywood Beach. This is our first time staying in this unit. While the unit is ideal for two people, there is adequate facility only for two not for four. Our biggest problem was in the cleanliness and condition of the unit. While it is an older building, this unit wasn’t just in disrepair, it was very dirty as is seen in these photos. The floors were badly damaged, and the planks were coming up in various locations, causing a trip hazard. The floors were also extremely dirty. The bathroom rug was filthy. The living room rug was dirty and stained. The shower curtain was really dirty, and had black mildew all over the bottom of it. Kitchen cabinet doors are falling off the hinges, and in general everything was needing a deep cleaning. We chose not to leave, because my spouse is disabled and making a change and moving out to a different unit would have Been Problematic for us. I was able to clean up enough for us to be able to use the unit comfortably, however.

Disappointing

This property was located just steps off the beach in one of the quietest spots on the broadwalk. It was also fully furnished with just about anything you would need. However, the place was not clean. The bathroom had hair all over the floor and was definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival. Luckily there were cleaning supplies so I could clean before using. There were Doritos on the floor and other food crumbs plainly visible. The toilet ran and you had to jiggle the handle just right for it to stop running. The kitchen sink barely drained. The bathroom sink drained straight into the shower. I don’t know what the regulations are for plumbing, but having an open drain is disgusting. I don’t mind that the place was older, I’ve stayed in many places on Hollywood Beach over the years, many with old charm but just because a place is older doesn’t mean it can’t be clean and functioning properly especially at the price point this is rented for.

It's Quiet here!
Just a 10 min walk to the south and you will experience all of the excitement on the Beach. Margaritaville resort offers day passes for their pool and spa which is a great alternative to the ocean. There is Live music on almost every corner, plenty of places to stop for a cold drink, ice cream, tacos and pizza.

The closest you can get to the beach! We also love that this property is situated just north of "the thick of it". It's a quiet place to relax without feeling crowded. There is limited public parking in the area so the beach stays pretty clean and family oriented.
