The property was clean and had everything we needed. The outside area was well maintained as described. The only problem was the heater on the pool was not working for us. The manager was great about communication though. We would stay here again!

This stay was so much fun! The golf cart on hand was great to have, the heated pool was perfect, and the house itself was cozy and had lots of room. They provided beach chairs and those came in handy! We left our cooler and some pool floats for the next guests to use as a thank u to the owners! Owners were also super nice when we ran into a problem they called us back super quick and got it handled. Would stay again!

This beach house was a blast! The heated pool was a daily must (and nightly too), and the golf cart made getting to the beach and around town easy and fun. The house was comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. Zero stress, maximum vacation vibes. We’d book it again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The heated pool and spacious outdoor area were highlights—perfect for lounging, meals, and evenings together. Having a golf cart included was a huge bonus and made getting around so easy. The location is absolutely perfect, with convenient beach access and everything close by. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making the entire experience seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Our stay was perfect! The check in process was easy and Leslie was always quick to respond to any questions. The golf cart and pool were a huge plus! Our family had the perfect stay and cant wait to book again!

Perfect house in perfect location
Our 2nd time staying at this house. It’s the perfect size for 5 besties! The pool is great and having the golf cart there is an added bonus! We will be back for year 3 for sure!

Internet was out when we arrived but prop manager was super responsive and it was restored quickly. Everything was great. Nice quiet location!!! Private pool was awesome!!

Wonderful home
We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic time. The home was clean and comfortable. The included golf cart was great for heading to the beach. The kids didn't want to leave. All communication with the host was prompt and helpful. We would readily stay here again.

Fun & Relaxing
Our family enjoyed a week stay! The location is perfect on the island, and we really enjoyed carting around with the golf cart. The pool was great! The house was clean and very comfortable! Any questions that we had were promptly answered! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Hi - I'm Leslie, and with my husband Jeremiah, we recently purchased Pura Playa as our second home in Port A. We are 5th generation Texans (I'm from Carrizo Springs, he's from Sterling City), who for the past 25 years have lived in Round Rock.
Our family has been coming to Port A for years - I came when I was a little girl (don't ask the year). When we had our children, we would summer here in a cramped, rusty but awesome travel trailer. We helped clean up our neighbors homes after Harvey. This town, and the Texas Coast, is our home away from home!
My husband is an avid fisherman and can help you with the hotspots, too! He loves to fish Redfish Bay, Aransas Bay, and all the way down to the Land Cut (he told me to write this).
I love to head down to the beach right at daybreak for some quiet time. In the evenings, at least once per trip, is a a family tradition of "shark in the dark!"
There's nothing better than an evening with those who you love while feeling the ocean breeze.

This 2014 built stilt home is loaded - pool, bbq pit, corn hole boards, and ping pong on the ground floor, with a spacious living room and sleeping for nine upstairs.
Master bedroom has a queen bed with private bath, with the second bedroom also having a queen bed. The kids' room has a bunk bed with trundle. Plenty of room for the entire family!
We are five minutes by cart or by foot to the beach, too!
