 fait partie de la famille Hall depuis plus de 60 ans et est actuellement détenue et exploitée par Myrtle Hall. Myrtle est née en Allemagne et a déménagé à Indian Rocks Beach en 2000 quand elle a épousé son défunt mari, Ned. La grand-mère de Ned a acheté la propriété Indian Rocks Beach en 1946. Le père de Ned, George Hall, a construit le premier bâtiment de deux étages en 1952. Le Gulf Cottage d'un étage a suivi en 1972. La famille de Ned a vécu ici en hiver, et a passé l'été à Ithaca, NY, où son père était entraîneur de golf à l'Université Cornell pendant plus de 40 ans. Ned a suivi ses traces en tant que professionnel de l'enseignement de PGA pendant plus de 25 ans. Il enseignait au club de golf Clearwater situé à Clearwater, en Floride, lorsque Myrtle, en Floride en vacances en Allemagne, l'a rencontré en 1998. Myrtle et Ned, bien sûr, ont eu leur mariage juste en face de la belle Sandy Shores!

Comme Ned, Myrtle est tombé amoureux de cette belle propriété et de sa riche histoire familiale. Ned et Myrtle ont commencé à louer leurs chalets en 2005 après une embellissement complet et ont apprécié chaque minute de partager cette belle propriété avec leurs invités. Myrtle perpétue la tradition d'hospitalité de la famille Hall à Sandy Shores et ajoute sa marque spéciale de chaleur allemande. Son attention aux détails et la propreté fait de Sandy Shores une retraite unique et charmante.

Le surf, le sable et le soleil, associés à la solitude tranquille, aux magnifiques couchers de soleil et à l'ombre des pins australiens en font l'endroit parfait pour une escapade. Vous profiterez de l'une des plus belles plages du monde, idéale pour une promenade matinale ou une expédition de bombardements l'après-midi, ainsi que pour des hébergements très bien entretenus. Sandy Shores est une tranche de la vieille Floride à son meilleur.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival at our Gulf cottage by our host Myrtle. Everything was in order. You can easily tell our host desired for my wife and I to have a fantastic stay. The grounds and cottage were immaculate. We really appreciated that aspect. The images on VRBO directly reflected what we saw. If you are looking for a cozy cottage with awesome views then this gulf cottage is for you.

Slice of beach heaven!

This is a hidden gem! The cottages are cozy and very clean, and the property grounds are the most beautiful around! Myrtle takes great pride in her cottages and it shows! 5 stars!!!

Great Beach Stay

Had a wonderful time at beach here. The place was perfect for a long weekend getaway. It was right on the beach which was perfect as we had 2 little ones with us, and extra beach equipment if needed. Myrtle is very nice and attentive and was there us we needed anything too. Overall a wonderful place and experience.

Wow! We had a wonderful trip! From the charming gulf front cottage to the beautiful beach it was just what we needed to relax and recharge! The cottage was steps from the beach, well stocked with everything we needed and very clean. Myrtle was a gracious host. She lives on the property and was available to answer our questions but was unobtrusive during our stay. She provides beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. The property has a beautiful garden and shaded areas as well. We ate breakfast in beach chairs, walked on the uncrowded beach collecting seashells and watched the sunset on the beach! On our last day we saw a dolphin “frolicking” in the water just off shore! The property is within walking distance of several restaurants, brewery, a bakery and an ice cream shop. We are already planning our return trip! Don’t hesitate to book this property for your next beach trip!

This place was awesome! A true home away from home - except with a much better location, view and climate ! My adult kids came over and loved it so much they intend on staying there in the near future also. As Arnold would say “I’ll be back” !!

Perfect Beach Vacation Location

Sandy Shores was the perfect place to spend our beach vacation. The place was in a great spot near some restaurants and stores. Myrtle had beach equipment too for us to use which was very helpful. She was always easy to get a hold of and helpful.

This property is spectacular! It is right in the beach, great outdoor seating areas and gardens. Myrtle was so responsive and gave us a tour with tips, so gracious. Close to many great restaurants. The cottage was clean and well stocked.
