Escapade paisible pour des plaisirs simples de la vie

Penny Lane Retreat au Baba Looey Barn est situé à seulement 15 minutes du centre-ville d’Athènes. Nous avons un poney (Tinker), un petit cheval (Chili) et le célèbre âne sauveteur (Baba Looey) qui vit en harmonie avec nos deux chats de grange extérieurs, Faye Lou et Lula Belle. La grange est située dans une allée de 1/2 mile qui vous procure la paix et la tranquillité; les seuls sons que vous entendrez sont ceux de la nature!

Ceci est un espace de 700 pieds carrés avec la chambre à coucher à l'étage et une cuisine complète, salle de bains et salon en bas. Cette grange est située au milieu de 35 hectares et comprend des pâturages, des zones boisées et un étang de 5 hectares avec un pavillon.

Notre souhait pour vous est de recharger votre corps et votre esprit.

Cet espace est parfait pour vous rappeler de ralentir et de profiter des plaisirs simples qui donnent un sens à la vie ...

We had a great stay! We arrived later than expected, but Leslie was there with the lights on for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property is wonderful, with beautiful views, and we really enjoyed spending time with the miniature horse, the donkey, and the two friendly cats roaming around.The location is perfect—only about 7 miles from Sanford Stadium. We’ll definitely be back next year for another game, and we wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else.Thank you, Leslie! We truly appreciated your warm hospitality.

Very special place. Everything was prefectly appointed. The privacy views, trails and location were just what I was hoping for. An easy, convenient drive into Athens, but felt like a world away. Comfortable, great quality bed, bedding, towels and kitchenware. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet farm house location 15 minutes away from downtown Athens. Good spot to visit son at UGA. Bed was comfy and location quiet with farm animals. Would rent again.

Relaxing getaway

Really enjoyed our stay here. The animals were so friendly and Dilbert the dog walked with us to and from the lake as though he knew where we were headed. Super soft bath towels and extra amenities were available just in case you forgot something. They thought of everything! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay on a lovely property

Wonderful property, kind hosts, generous accommodations and a relaxing atmosphere. The barn cats, doggies, horse and donkey were very sweet, weren't a bother at all and added to the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the paved walking trail and ability to stretch my legs after a long drive.

Peaceful and very quiet!

This place was everything we hoped for. Such beautiful surroundings and lovely accommodations make me want to return and spend more time there on a personal retreat. We were away during most of the day we stayed there enjoying the Botanical Gardens and eating out, so I didn't get to relax for hours on end just soaking it all up. Next time!

A Unique Experience

My husband and I had the most wonderful time staying in this quaint and cozy barn, next to a pond, surrounded by the property's local residents - 2 cats, a dog, a donkey and a horse. The accommodations and amenties were perfect for us, and we received 5 star service. Leslie made sure we had everything we needed, including leaving "happy birthday" plates for my husband, and setting up a fire pit for us. Penny, the owner, was so welcoming and friendly. It's a 20 minute ride to Athens, and a great value compared to Athens hotels.
