Summer Beach Blues - Spectaculaire

SPECTACULAR décrit tout sur cette maison. L'immense salle familiale au dernier étage et une cuisine bien équipée où vous pourrez recevoir votre groupe de 12 personnes. Il y a des vues sur le golfe du Mexique ou le détroit de Santa Rosa depuis chaque fenêtre. 2 chambres de maître avec salle de bain privée, plus 2 autres chambres et un futon et un jumeau gonflable dans la salle familiale. Près de la piscine communautaire. Une jetée qui s’étend à 180 pouces dans le son pour pêcher et / ou regarder les couchers de soleil du soir. Téléviseurs dans chaque pièce avec beaucoup de films et NetFlix. Juste une courte promenade à travers les dunes du golfe. Nous fournissons également des serviettes de plage, un chariot pour la plage ET de nombreux jouets de sable. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est un appareil photo et vos vêtements!

Easy check-in. Abundantly well-stocked kitchen. My mom usually travels with cooking gear as most rentals we've enjoyed over the years don't have enough skillets, utensils, pots, etc. There is more than enough for anything you could possibly want to do in that kitchen! We used the community pool & beach access on both the Gulf & the sound side daily- it's a short walk to all. There are plenty of beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards & floats for your use. The outside shower is a nice amenity. I used it every day to rinse off and minimize tracking in sand. Make sure to bring extra bathroom tissue & paper towels as a nominal supply is provided & our group of 9 went through that pretty quickly.

All our family gathered to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. This property was one of three we rented to accommodate our family. We were so pleased with the house. It was clean and very well stocked.

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The neighborhood was nice and quiet with a short walk to the ocean or the bay! The only negative we had was that there was no propane in the grill. We made due though and had a very relaxing week and enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect space for our party of 6! We are glad we selected it over other options that we had!

We always offer to reimburse for buying additional propane. It's the only way we can keep it during rentals.

Very nice property in a great location for us given we like a quiet vacation! We have stayed and this property two years in a row. The one negative that we had both years is with the mattress in the master bedroom. Both years the mattress had a huge dip in it and is in need of being replaced.

We always love having repeat renters and hope to hear from you for next year! I do wish you had sent us a private note about the king mattress. We are only aware of things like that when renters message us. Since it is not an old mattress, it could be the support underneath. It will be fixed this winter.

This is the 7th time we have stayed at this property. It needs some TLC and a very deep clean. The location is good. Just a short drive into the action. The walk to the beach is easy- recommend using the boardwalk just a few more steps down the beach. There were no beach towels as advertised in the listing. The community pool was not well maintained. A lot of the same trash from day-to-day scattered around.

Sorry you didn't ask me about the beach towels. I would have had them brought to the house. There are supposed to be 12 towels in the laundry room for every visit. The house still has cosmetic repairs that need to be done after the hurricane last year. It has been hard to get contractors out and I'm sure no one wants workers in the house while on vacation. The house will be painted inside and out by next year's season. Please let me know if you have other specific issues with cleanliness. I never want my house to not be clean!

GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL HOUSE ACROSS FROM A FANTASTIC BEACH

For Pensacola Beach, we could not have done better for a reasonably priced four bedroom home with beach access in a gated community. This house is 3.5 miles east of downtown Pensacola Beach. We were close enough to easily access the downtown and far enough away to avoid any noise. The island is thin at Santa Rosa Villas (gated community) going from the spectacular white sand beach on the Gulf side, to the road, to Santa Rosa Villas--only four houses deep until the sound/Pensacola Bay. There was hardly anyone on the beach every single day, unlike downtown. The house itself was great. Ground level entrance and garage, which we did not bother with, parking instead in the driveway. Second floor has three bedrooms with a laundry room; the master has a great Gulf side balcony. Top floor was living/dining/kitchen/half bath and another master with en suite with balconies and water views on each side. All rooms were large and roomy. One bedroom was a bit crowded caused by two sets of bunkbeds. All bedrooms had TVs; great cable service with Netflix. All furniture and electronics were in great shape. House very tastefully decorated beach style. Everything that you could want for appliances and utensils in the kitchen were there. The house was well stocked with linens and towels. There was a great community spirit to the inherited condiments, dry goods and spices, as well as puzzles games and videos, which we accessed then contributed to at the end. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet (yeah). There is no pool but rather a community pool three houses over, which we used only once (preferring the beach). We were the only ones at the pool and it was great. The outside shower off the garage was welcome coming back from the beach, and kept us from tracking much sand into the house. The owner, Joy, was a pleasure; quick to respond, and thorough. Directions and access codes were without confusion. Contract was straight forward, damage deposit was returned promptly within a week. I would encourage you to compare this house's rate with others in Santa Rosa Villas. It was at the lower end and we have a hard time believing that the other houses were that much better. If they were, it was an increment that we did not need, nor need to pay for. In terms of the Pensacola area, a bonus was the free air show by the Blue Angels twice per week. We took it in once. In sum, a family house in great shape for a perfect beach getaway. Paul and Victoria

The house was great, but I really appreciated the communication with the owner/manager. Responses were very quick and helpful. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and the sound. We enjoyed the pier/dock and the pool.

This place was perfect for our group of 8. Incredible views of the gulf and the sound and a really easy walk to an uncrowded beach. Was probably the most well-stocked vacation home I have ever rented as there was plenty of cookware, utensils, etc., that made things much easier for nights we cooked at home. Would definitely rent again.

Not for small children !!!

Stairs were extremely dangerous, even for adults. Dishwasher leaked, oven door handle came off. My husband replaced a flapper valve in master toilet. Maintance of the property was not up to par. Location is wonderful.

We're sorry you had house issues. It would have been helpful to let us know about any problems in the house while you were there. We certainly would have immediately had anything fixed/repaired. I will talk with our cleaning crew and your items will be addressed. All houses on the beach have multiple levels with stairs. Ours have handrails and different colors or tile representing the staircase turns. Over the years we have had many children stay in the house without complaints.

Best beach ever

We had an absolutely incredible stay. The whole house was very clean upon check in, all the amenities you could need, plenty of space for the 12 people we had. I do wish someone had told us the dock in the photos, subdivision dock, was destroyed. Must have been torn up in the hurricane and not repaired. We couldn't fish like we wanted to. But the house itself...incredible. The beach was beautiful and just a SHORT walk. The pool was great on the days the kiddos needed a break from the waves.

Loved the location.. short walk.. no crowded beach.. perfect for our family! Well stocked house, except dish towels ( I use a lot). Was happy to have the beach wagon and toys to use! The bedroom on top floor needs a cover on the door as the room was bright in the early morning, but I brought a darkening sheet after reading previous reviews😬 Overall, we had an awesome week and I would rent again!

Great place to spend a week!

We had a great stay. The property is exactly as advertised (if not more). Great location with easy access to the beach. The pool was super convenient (especially for the little kids when they had enough of the gulf). If you're hyper picky, you'll notice some wear and tear on the house, but what do expect with Florida weather and so close to the water. The home is sound and well built, and provides tons of area to spread out. The bedrooms provided an ample place to escape at night, and the main floor was a great space. The open concept living room was bigger and had more seating than expected. Communication was great with the owner. Details and instructions were clearly lined out. The check-in and check-out process was easy and nothing was unexpected or out of the ordinary. I'd go back! Can I just go back, like tomorrow. It's way better than being at work. Cheers!

We had an amazing week staying here, even with a tropical storm. The house is a quick walk from the beach and pool. It is stocked with everything you will need and more. Great location. Quiet. Hope we get to stay there again!

Our dream was to own a beach house. Then we found out that we needed to rent it to help pay the bills. I talk to each renter to make sure that the house is a fit for their party. It's the beach, so I want everyone to have fun; but it is a private home.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We started building this house before Hurricane Ivan hit. It took 18 months to build so it feels like another child. We found this beach to be beautiful and charming without all the madness of the more 'popular' beaches. The beach has incredible white sand and our area at the end of the residential area feels almost private at times. The city of Pensacola has some big city attractions and is close enough for some adventures away from the beach atmosphere. There's plenty to do or just sit on one of the decks and enjoy the view.

Young children love the small beach at the fishing pier on the Sound. They can sit in the lapping waves and not get knocked down.
