Grace River Island Resort est une île privée située sur la rivière Caloosahatchee à Fort Myers, en Floride. C'est un endroit parfait pour les vacances en famille, les retraites d'affaires, les mariages de petite destination, les lunes de miel ou tout simplement pour un week-end de détente Le complexe insulaire comprend une grande maison de 5 chambres à coucher, un centre communautaire, une piscine, un bain à remous et deux gazebos privés. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se reposer, se détendre et se rafraîchir.

Lorsque vous entrez dans la porte de la propriété, l'allée est joliment bordée de palmiers voyageurs et de reines. Continuez sur la promenade en apercevant de temps en temps la rivière et vous verrez bientôt la maison insulaire de 6000 pieds carrés qui a une belle cuisine, un grand salon, une salle familiale, 5 chambres à coucher et une salle à manger en contrebas avec une grande groupe peut prendre les repas ensemble. Trois chambres sont à l'étage principal: la salle de bain principale et la chambre sont adjacentes à la salle familiale, la chambre 2 est juste à côté de la véranda et la chambre 3 est près de l'entrée principale. De la cuisine, vous pouvez monter les escaliers où il y a une chambre principale / salle commune avec deux lits doubles superposés et deux salles de bain et demi, trois marches plus, il y a une mezzanine avec 5 lits jumeaux. Une véranda climatisée surplombe la rivière et la piscine en faisant un endroit idéal pour se détendre. L'île abrite également une salle communautaire avec télévision et bientôt une console de jeux et une table de ping-pong. Deux kiosques offrant une vue sur l'eau, l'un surplombant le lagon et l'autre sur la rivière, offrent une vue magnifique et de nombreux sièges. Dehors, vous êtes entouré d'eau de tous les côtés. En dehors de la véranda se trouve un bain à remous et une piscine. Si vous remontez l'allée, vous découvrirez de nombreux arbres exotiques et plusieurs espèces d'oiseaux. C'est un plaisir de partager notre belle île avec vous.

Girls Weekend

There were 19 women staying at this lovely place. There's so much space that if you need to step away for some alone time you can. The pool is wonderful. Mike and Karen are such a pleasure to communicate with. I would recommend this wonderful home for any family/friend vacation.

An amazing place to relax, connect and enjoy!

I can't think of a better property to bring a big group together. Lots of nooks to take time away to read a book, but also lots of places to gather for a meal, a lawn game, to swim, kayak, play ping pong, have a board game challenge, fish and watch a movie in comfort. Absolutely amazing sunsets. We even saw a dolphin in the river! Hosts could not have been more accommodating, coming to the house within 20 minutes if we had any issues. The only thing to note is that to get to the large common dining space, you do need to go through one of the bedrooms, and to get to the bunk room, you have to go through another bedroom. These things were a little awkward, but definitely not a show stopper, it's just helpful to understand the layout. Going through a bedroom to get to the bunk room actually proved to be pretty good for parents to do kid wrangling when they woke up. A great trip!

Hello Christine. We are so happy your families decided to come and stay at our large property. We have a vision to bring multi-generational families together to rest, refresh and reconnect. This fosters lifetime memories. I wanted to clarify the large dining space (large sunroom). It is accessible from the inside through the sunroom bedroom or you can go around the house via a covered walkway or enter from the pool area. And with warm Florida temperatures, it is wonderful to walk outside.

Outstanding stay with friends and family at this amazing property

We had memorable vacation at this excellent property. All of us made several memories that will stay with us for long-long time. This property is absoloutely gorgeous, extremely relaxing and fantastic location. This property was perfect for 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids) and there was plenty to do for everyone (from adults to kids). Gorgeous sunrise and sunset by the poolside. We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, fireside chat in the evening, playing ping-pong and soaking in the pool and the hot-tub. Oweners were great to work with and very transparent, honest and accomodating. Mike walked us through the entire property at check-in and that made it so easy for us. Thank you Mike for having us at this gorgeous property. We will surely be back...

Remote Wedding stay

I found this property as a last minute cancellation, and we could not have been more thrilled with the end result. Upon confirmation the property owner contacted us and was extremely friendly. He explained what was to be expected and timing of payments and process of checking in. During the check-in, Mike was extremely thorough with the explanation of the property, and was always available with the few ongoing questions with lighting. As to the property, there is really no explanation that adequately describes both the setting and the house. The house is beautiful and expansive, there is really room for an army. The setting alone, is amazing and the daily sunsets are picturesque. There are really not enough good things to describe this property. All I can really say is thank you for letting us stay there.

Absolutely Perfect wedding!

Absolute dream location for a wedding! We were looking for something extra special and we sure did find it in Grace River Island Resort! From the moment we drove Onto this magical island we felt at home. Mike and Karen were superb hosts who kindly greeted us and showed us the lay of the land. Our guests were stunned with the views of our venue and gorgeous sunsets. We would both recommend 10 out 10 for this beautiful hidden gem for your wedding, vacation or even staycation! Really Beautiful but....

Gorgeous space inside and out and very comfortable for family reunions except 1. Odd odor in home 2. Neighbors forced quiet time as early as 9:30.... completely unrealistic for summer weddings, reunions, get togethers, parties. 3. Wasps. So many wasps.

Not sure what is meat by "odd oder." We have the house professionally cleaned and sanitized after every guest and have never had this comment before. We responded immediately to their call about wasps. We only saw 4 and removed one nest that we found. We had to respond to a noise complaint concerning our guests at midnight.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this home. We celebrated our parents 32nd wedding anniversary on the front lawn for a vowel renewal and it was beautiful! Excellent Property for Larger Group - Exactly as Advertised

My friends and I rented this property for a long weekend and it couldn't have been a better experience. Mike was very responsive and walked us through the property when we arrived. We were able to get to Fort Myers Beach, JetBlue Park, downtown Fort Myers, and Cape Coral with a short drive. The pool and hot tub were great to have on the property and we very comfortably slept 9 people. Couldn't have been a better experience.

Family stay for funeral

Our extended family returned to Fort Myers to say our final goodbyes to my father. This home allowed 17 of us to all comfortably stay together. Every space worked perfectly for us, whether gathering for conversation or preparing or sharing a meal. Mike was great to work with. We have hosted on AirBnB and VRBO since 2016. We had a three story home on 2 ½ acres where we raised our three children. When our last child moved out, we had this big house with empty rooms. Mike’s brother recommended we do AirBnB. We were a little skeptical, but moved forward with trying it out. We then had a friend who had an emergency and needed a place for their family to stay and they became our first guests. Our first year we were booked solid during the winter season, had a nice break during off-season and more people came the next year. We then decided to downsize and sold that wonderful property. We moved to a place on a canal, just off the Caloosahatchee river. Mike won a speed boat in a drawing at our church and we were able to explore the river by boat. On one of our ventures we found this wonderful island and knew we could share it with others, just as we had shared our other home.

Both of us have a vision to help others and to create a place for others to relax, refresh, and reconnect with other family members. As our children were growing up we met with Mike’s family including his Grandmother, Parents, Siblings and their families, Uncles and their families for a family vacation every year at a resort in MN. We were able to reconnect with each other during the vacation week having fun playing games, fishing, shopping, water skiing, and enjoying meals together. The families didn’t all live close together and the week at the lake allowed us to have the bond of fellowship each year. At Grace River Island Resort, Mike and Karen want to share their home and allow other families to gather together in Florida to relax, refresh, and reconnect with others just like have done for many years with theirs.

We saw this beautiful island as we were out boating. We knew the value of family vacation rentals and wanted to make this beautiful large island available to share with other families so they could REST, RELAX and RECONNECT. We love the river and all the recreation and beauty that it holds.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The island is a unique space as there are very few islands on the Caloosahatchee River that have homes on them. And our property is easily accessible via a land bridge (brick paver driveway) to the mainland. The water and sunset views are spectacular.

As you enter the gate to the property, the driveway lined with traveler and queen palms stretches ahead of you. As you continue up the drive, you will occasionally glimpse the river and more tropical flora, and soon you will see the 4700 square foot island house which has a 2000 square foot deck, a beautiful kitchen, a large living room, and a family room, and six bedrooms. The house has well appointed finishing/prep kitchen for events large and small. An air-conditioned sunroom with a live edge table (seats 24 people) overlooks both the river and the pool, making a great place for dinner and to fellowship and play games together. You can explore the river and many bird species with our 3-person and two 1-person kayaks. If fishing is your pleasure, we have 4 fishing poles available and a bait shop close by. There are many salt water fish species that call our river home. Early morning is the best time to see dolphins, manatees, shark, and tarpon. Bring your boat and dock it in the tranquil bay. We have a private boat ramp and there is a public boat ramp nearby.

This is a private gated island. However, we share the neighborhood with other properties. And noise travels easily over the water. So we ask that noise levels be kept low during the day and STRICT quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am and music must be kept at a minimum level at all times. No loud parties!

Finally, our property has the benefit of being in a quiet country setting, but still close to downtown, I-75, airports, beaches, fishing, sporting events, shopping, and other attractions.
