La "Cabane dans les arbres du lac Travis" récemment rénovée offre des équipements de première classe pour vous offrir un espace de vie merveilleux. Rassemblez-vous autour de sa belle péninsule de cuisine, dînez ou profitez d'une cheminée confortable. Les salles de bains carrelées sont de type spa et les chambres sont bien aménagées avec les meilleurs draps. 5 étoiles propres. Un tel confort vous donnera envie de ne pas partir. Si vous le faites, il y a une piscine, un bain à remous, un espace barbecue et la marina est à quelques pas.

Conception architecturale Decagon unique, plafonds voûtés, fenêtres panoramiques, planchers en bois partout, terrasse enveloppante avec une vue incroyable, une cuisine entièrement équipée avec tous les nouveaux appareils: réfrigérateur avec machine à glaçons / distributeur d'eau, poêle à convection, micro-ondes, plaque de cuisson, cafetière, élimination, laveuse et sécheuse. Une grande et belle péninsule de granit est parfaite pour se divertir et un grand espace pour cuisiner avec vue sur le lac et distingue cette unité des autres. Toutes les salles de bains sont magnifiquement carrelées et équipées d'une baignoire et d'une douche combinées. Les deux chambres sont spacieuses avec des lits confortables et les meilleurs draps, un lit king et un lit queen. WIFI et câble de base inclus. Cette unité autonome est une maison en soi sans murs partagés vous offrant l'intimité que vous méritez.

Very beautiful and clean, everything I needed was there and the sight was absolutely amazing.The host informed me if I needed anything or any questions she was available.. loved that there were amenities there as in good body wash, shampoo and conditioner and everything in the kitchen!!will definitely go out there again!!

Mediocre…. The view wasn’t like the photos. You could see a sliver of the lake. Pool was closed due to maintenance after storm… lake was closed due to storm. We had some good food in town. We picked the wrong week to go.

Very cool house, we did not spend much time in the unit as we were there on business and to see my brother and some of our friends that live in Lakeway. My only negative comment would be the patio furniture could be nicer and the blinds on the sliding glass door were in need of repair.

Treehouse at Lake Travis

Went to Austin to see a Blues concert and stayed at the Treehouse while there. Chose it because of the location close to hiking trails. The house was very nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again if given the opportunity.

Great Vaca

We had such fun with the boats and the jet skis. Also loved the beautiful homes and Lakeway in general. Beautiful little town and the water at the dam was so cold and refreshing. The water in front of the Treehouse was low but came up before we ended the vacation. Pool area was very cool looking.

Tree House on Lake Travis

Great place, nice views and the owner is wonderful to deal with. She made sure we had such a great experience. The pool was closed due to COVID-19 concerns so we didn't get to see it or use it. There is no access to the lake from the tree house but we walked to the marina and rented a boat for the day. Very clean and quiet place to get away!

Received exactly what we were hoping for.

Everything was very clean and was exactly what was represented in pictures and as described. Had a small problem with wifi after a 10-20 second power outage. Owner was quickly responsive and helpful. All in all, a satisfactory experience.

Beautiful property and location

Our stay was beautiful. The home is perfectly described and taken care of. The beds are very comfortable and we had all we needed in the kitchen. The pool area was lovely. The sign on the gate said the hot tub was out for maintenance but we found out that it was just needing a refill on water and was still usable the entire time, so check in case as it seems that sign might stay on more often than necessary. Our only slightly sad part was the water levels were so low that there was no lake water view from the home. You can walk down to the Marina. It could just be the time of year, I’m not sure. We would recommend this stay and location to anyone interested.

BED BUGS – Host Denied Everything and Refused RefundThis was one of the most stressful and disgusting travel experiences we’ve ever had. We stayed three nights, and after the second night, we noticed itchy, burning bites. My husband has experienced bed bugs before, and these were identical. By the final day, we had multiple photos of the bites and informed the host, expecting accountability. Instead, we got complete denial and no refund.We stayed the last night not by choice, but because we had to quarantine our belongings in trash bags to avoid bringing bed bugs home. Leaving earlier would’ve risked further contamination. The host refused any compensation because we “stayed the full trip”—an insulting excuse given the situation.We reached out to Vrbo, who tried to help. The host still refused, but Vrbo reimbursed us the service fee just to maintain good faith with us. That says a lot.Do NOT book this property unless you’re okay with risking bed bugs and a host who won’t take responsibility even when given proof. This was a nightmare. Vrbo should seriously reconsider listing this place.Couldn’t attach pictures of my bites because they were all over my the back of my legs and bum. Other pic is actual view from deck May 2025.

Thank you for your feedback. I want to start by saying that no guest should ever be expected to stay in a rental property that is infested with bugs or pests. This is exactly why we took your report very seriously and immediately contacted a professional pest control company based in Austin, Texas to perform a thorough inspection. This company specializes in bed bug detection and treatment. They conducted a full inspection of both Unit #7 (where you stayed) and Unit #15 (which I also own). Their findings showed no evidence of bed bugs or any other pests in either unit. All beds, sofas, and upholstered furniture were carefully and professionally examined. Additionally, the guests who checked out of Unit #7 the Wednesday after your stay did not report any pest issues during or after their visit. As of today, June 24th, we have received no other complaints or reports of pests at this property. I genuinely wish this concern had been raised during your stay. Timely reporting allows us to respond immediately,whether that means relocating guests to another unit or taking swift action to investigate and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, neither we nor VRBO were able to offer a full refund because there was no documented evidence to support the claim. To date, I have not received any photos of the alleged bites or of the bugs you saw. We remain committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience to all guests and continue to uphold strict cleanliness and pest-prevention standards

This place was amazing! The view of the lake from the balcony was so calm and serene, the turtles were sunbathing on the rocks below. We had a blast renting kayaks from the marina that was close enough to walk to. The rental had all major necessities: kitchen appliances and toiletries, more than enough towels and bedding. The kids loved everything about our stay, 10/10!

Cozy and Clean

Would definitely come come back. It was quiet and had all we needed. Even got to enjoy the pool by ourselves for a bit. There was a technical mishap when we booked and the management was quick to get us taken care of and ensure we had a place to stay. They were kind and very accommodating.

I live with my lovely husband and four-year-old daughter. We love travelling around the world as a family, my husband is European (half Polish and half Russian), and we are super happy that our daughter is already 100% fluent in Spanish, Polish and English. We are a very outdoor family, we love hiking, camping, walking, swimming and also playing music. We also consider ourselves foodies as we love to explore good and unique dishes everywhere we go. We have purchased the "Tree House on Lake Travis" as a second home. If this is your first time staying with us, I hope you will get to enjoy your stay at the tree house and explore the amazing water activities that Lake Travis has to offer. If you are a returning guest, you might have been familiar with the previous owners and super-hosts Steve & Steve.
