The largest supermarket in the area is around 15-20 minutes walk, however there is one under 10 minutes walk from the house. We look forward to welcoming you and the family back next year. Up-date: Having spoken to the community vice-president about the pool issue I have been informed that on several consecutive days the filter became blocked by seed pods from nearby palm trees. It was cleared daily but re-blocked. Palm tree seed pods are small and black so may have appeared as flies. The palms have now shed all seeds and have been pruned so the issue will not reoccur.

Thank you for the review. We are glad you liked the house so much, we do our best to ensure it is a clean home-from-home with everything you will need. Yes, the majority of our renters are non-Spaniards, it is a popular area for northern Europeans to visit for holidays and most of our guests are English speakers, even if not British. We will see about adding more lighting near the barbecue for early and late season visitors, obviously not an issue in summer months. There is so much to do - not just the mall. Even in the mall there is a bowling alley, entertainment zone, play zone for different age children as well as the bars, restaurants, coffee places and the wide range of shops. I appreciate you were only there for four nights so had little time to explore the immediate area. But there is also the beaches, play parks, go karts, live music, water sports in summer months, free concerts in August on the seafront, fiesta parades, mini golf or crazy golf, a place where you can paint ceramics, several children's play cafes and more, plus the four 18 hole championship level courses for serious golfers. Just a bus ride away are the facilities of Torrevieja to the north or the Mar Menor to the south. A short drive and you can choose between countryside walks, traditional villages or places of interest. Maybe if you visit again you will have time to check out these other places local facilities that the children will enjoy.
