Situé au 5e étage en bord de mer condo 2 chambres / 2 salles de bain au complexe Beach House.
Le condo a tout ce dont vous avez besoin, une cuisine entièrement équipée, deux téléviseurs, Internet haut débit, deux piscines et juste à la plage. Beach House est un petit complexe calme avec toutes les commodités dont vous avez besoin pour passer de merveilleuses vacances ou une maison d'hiver. Fantastic view, great pool and access to the beach. The host was wonderful. Lots of great space with open concept kitchen. The bed was very uncomfortable and the condo could use some paint and overall TLC.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It's older but redone. Great access and view of the beach. The pools and hot tub were nice and clean.

When you go to the beach you want a view, location and easy access to 🏖 This is the place to be. Once you walk out the back gate your on the beach.. We will rent same unit again.

Great Location

The home was decent, but you could tell it was starting to get worn down somewhat. The master bedroom shower ceiling was rusted and the bed had 2 x 4’s holding up one corner of the bed. There also need to be more living room furniture (larger sofa-s) to accommodate 6 people. The current ones are small. A sectional type sofa would work well. Overall, not a bad place.

It’s a beautiful, cozy condo with a lovely, modern kitchen and comfortable beds/pillows/comforters. The view is amazing. It was a bit warm and we could not adjust the AC to a lower temp than 72.

BEST Night’s sleep in comfy beds! Beautiful views of ocean to boot!

We stayed at Cecilia’s place and checked in after a day on the sand. Other than the numbers being mixed up to access the property we really enjoyed our stay The place was clean and the beds were super comfortable with fresh smelling linens. I’m am giving 5 stars mainly Because the beds were soo comfy! The property grounds are well maintained and the pools and jacuzzi were clean and free of debris. We look forward to booking the condo again soon.

Thank you for your stay, I wished I could know what you didn´t like, before you would post such a low review :( Our condo is in one of the best locations in SPI. Kitchen just been updated the same as bedroom furniture and living room. Your 3 star review hurts us a lot, but we will keep working and giving the best experience to our guests as all the other reviews can show.

Condo suited our needs. Nice sized balcony with great view of Gulf, beach and pool. Kitchen suitably outfitted for our needs. We added a few throw rugs by doors and a couple of other items that we will reuse next year. Bed was very comfortable and guests thought those in the second bedroom were fine as well. Bathrooms short of counter space but one can manage for time there. Overall a nice place to spend a month or two.

Another great experience on SPI

Stayed in this condo for 3 months this year. Enjoyed ourselves even though the weather was unusual compared to other years but that had nothing to do with the condo. New furniture in the living room this year and it worked much better for us. Some additions also made to furnishings in bedrooms which we appreciated. The location is great and the owner is very pleasant and easy to work with. We highly recommend this unit.

Great Quiet Location

For spring break week this was a super quiet property with lots of younger families around. Traveling with teens it was a great fit. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Condo was clean. There was a bit of a musky smell when we arrived, assume because the AC hadn't been running. Bought air freshener and it was fine. The AC was finicky as other guests had mentioned. We made it work and fans were provided in both bedrooms. The TV's required an ad free subscription to use Netflix and Prime was the only other option. Also bought a roku so the kids could use all our existing accounts. Overall a good stay and priced appropriately.

Conveniently cozy

My stay at Beach House Gateaway was wonderful! From the moment my family and I arrived, we were amazed by the beautiful view and cozy atmosphere. The property itself was well equipped with all of the necessary essentials from a coffee maker to laundry detergent . This made staying here very comfy and convenient. I must point out that the best part of staying here was the location. It was a simple walk down to the shore where my family and I enjoyed the day and a simple walk back for our little ones to take their afternoon naps. Honestly, we are looking forward to the next time we stay here. The host and management were very helpful and accommodating. This place exceeded all expectations.

The property was just as described. Easy to get to. Clean, great location. Our refrigerator wasn't cooling fast enough and the maint guy came and offered us cash for the ice we had to buy. Before the night was over it was working very well, but no other complaints. The pool was great. Just a minute walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back to this exact home. Thank you Cecelia for accommodating us with an early check in and a late check out.

Amazing views

Overall, had a great stay. Views were great, Great little restaurant down the street Palms resort. Excellent food. (Block away) condo was furnished pleasantly. Washer was broken but they notified me a couple days before my stay, which was nice. Had beach towels, etc. I had some trouble with my flight and rental car which totally frustrated me and I ended up coming in late. I was so frustrated I couldn’t even find my email with the info. I called the owner late and he text me the info. Owner is super awesome to work with and answers questions quickly!! Nice hot tub, 2 pools. Beach right out front!! Definitely would recommend!

A wonderful family vacation!!

We had the best time on our family vacation! This property has a great location and easy access to the beach! We had plenty of room as a family of 5. Our kids had one room and we had the other, same with the bathrooms. We loved coming in from the beach and hopping in the pool. We cooked dinners every night and the kitchen had all we needed. Plenty of space in the pantry and fridge. The washer and dryer were definitely a plus. We came home and no laundry needed to be done! The dining table was perfect for meals and family game nights. The patio had an amazing view and we enjoyed having coffee out there every morning. We were super close to everything we did while in South Padre. This is a gated community so we felt super safe and secure. Also we never heard any neighbors making noise which was nice. We had such a great time, we are already looking at our calendars to see when we can come back!

Review

Overall the condo was very nice - everything worked, nicely decorated, etc. However, the pillows, sheets, and mattress covers were dirty, had hair on them, and smelled bad. Therefore, we could not be used and need to be replaced. There was urine smell on the beds. We discovered this at 10 PM and couldn't get it fixed. We used linens from another unit we were renting from the same owner (which was in great shape). If they get this issue fixed, it would be a five star condo like other places we've stayed in the past.

Dear Guest. It is unfortunate that you had such a bad experience at our property. I find it very strange that having arrived at 10 pm you felt the need to remove the sheets and check the protectors and the mattresses themselves. I want to clarify that our housekeeping staff has worked with us at all three of our properties for over 10 years, which has led to 5-star ratings. I never received any pictures of stained sheets/pillows or and when my staff came by the next day to check, you commented that everything was resolved and there was no problem. You did not show any of what you are talking about. When we did the cleaning after your departure we checked the sheets and no stains or hair or odors of any kind were detected. I believe that the origin of so much annoyance is your disappointment when you found out that you had booked an apartment that was not in the same building as the rest of your family, perhaps deep down what you were expecting was a refund to change your reservation. Your low evaluation affects us very much, however, we will work with more enthusiasm to continue offering the best experience to our guests, just like the rest of the evaluations can show.

Great views and beach access

The beach and pool access couldn’t have been easier, and the views were beautiful. The configuration of the unit wasn’t ideal, as the bedrooms flanked the front door and hence the elevator/stairs, so it was sometimes noisy when my kids were trying to sleep (4 months, 3 and 5 years). We also had to keep the blinds closed for privacy which meant the bedrooms were always dark. Bathrooms are tiny, and for kids used to baths it was a challenge (both showers were stand up with glass doors). Appliances and furnishings dated and a little worn, but everything did the job. We noticed our food wasn’t keeping very cold, then discovered the refrigerator door didn’t close properly, so owner should probably look into fixing that seal. Kids really enjoyed themselves and this complex will be our destination again next year.

What you see is what you get! It is a wonderful property and the owner is very courteous and prompt!

We had a quick getaway before summer actually hit. I was a little worried of what to expect; however, the owner did contact a couple of weeks before and answered any questions/concerns I had directly over the phone. Upon arrival, we were ecstatic and relieved to find what we had seen in the pictures. The location was amazing. We have 2 kids and it was amazing to walk to the beach, hose off and hang out at the pool. My kids absolutely loved it. It is a great family location and we were able to create great memories. I have to add that the property manager and owner are very honest. By mistake, I double paid a fee and had completely overlooked it until the property manager called me on my way home to inform me that I had already paid. I contacted the owner and she very promptly returned the fee. This is a wonderful property with a wonderful and honest owner. I highly recommend!

Rocky beginning

On arrival to the condo we found out we were on the 5th floor and the elevator didn’t work. This was not mentioned in the listing , which we found out had not been working since Feb, had I known I wouldn’t of booked this condo because my Mom and Aunt could not go up and down 5 floors. So I did call our contact person who got a hold of Cecilia who then came down and spoke with us. She did offer to give up her condo the next day and she would move into the one I had originally booked. It was worth the inconvenience even though we had to get a hotel room for that night. Her condo was beautiful. The view of ocean was great from balcony , living room and bedroom. She was a gracious host and I would love to book from her again.

Nice but needs an update

Overall great location right on the beach. Secure parking, and the facility is generally clean. However, the front door needs a fresh coat of paint, and the building in general is aging. The furniture is not the same is in the picture but it wasn’t bad. The king mattress in the bedroom is beginning to sag, but the beds in the other room, including the trundle bed were in very nice condition. The showers and kitchen area were very nice. One annoyance was that the owner gave another family our unit’s information, so right in the middle of dinner a family came in. Thank goodness we were there, because it could have created a major issue. We called the owner and she corrected the situation. We also had the building manager change the lock code, because as we discovered the codes are not exactly foolproof. Overall we had a great vacation and enjoyed our stay.

I was so embarrassed, in all these years never happened before, hope never happens again. It only took a phone call to correct the situation and in minutes both families were settled. Regarding the king size bed, will be replaced soon so hopefully when you come back will notice, as you noticed this time we had new kitchen, new baths, and new leather furniture. Thanks a lot

Staff/owner extremely nice and helpful

Only real complaint was our condo was double booked. We had to move units, after a couple of days. It was very unfortunate, but the owner and staff did everything in their power to take care of us, help facilitate mover, etc. All in all, highly recommend.
